Tipping and asking for money in general has gotten out of hand. I can't perform any transaction now without getting asked for more money.

We came from overseas so were surprised by a lot of things. Exceptional increase on the price, asking for a tip for everything as well as a donation to an ambiguous cause, city and state taxes, and then multiple fees for things that should be part of the cost of doing business.

Webwulf I guarantee that if there is a drop in the price of beef and I demand a cheaper burger I won't get very far. But maybe that's what we should do? Switzerland is great but it's expensive and for the alps it will be difficult to haul the kids around. Budapest might be a better option, it's a beautiful city and less expensive. I don't know if you're going to be based out of Milan or another airport in Northern Italy but I would look for direct flights out of that airport as it would be easier with the kiddos.

I have a small pocket notebook for work, a larger book for meetings and a large notebook for my daily quad chart for prioritizing my day. For personal I keep composition notebooks through the years which has mostly been just a stream of thoughts after significant life events. However for the last 3 months I've been keeping another book focusing on development and mindful improvements in myself. It's helpful in staying on track but painful identifying character flaws. I haven't found a good digital medium I have been able to stick with yet.

But I like how they talk about the quality of those latter years. I always tell people I don't run to live forever, but I want to be able to function later in life.

I live in Italy so it was a different take on wine as far as atmosphere goes and we really enjoyed it. If you enjoy art you are going to the right place, the museums are incredible. For food be sure to visit café central, the breakfast was good but the cake was divine.

Webwulf My favorite thing to do in Prague was the beer spa, there are multiple ones around the city. It's fun to roam around the old town, just wear good shoes are the cobble stone can hurt after a few miles. My favorite thing to do in Prague was the beer spa, there are multiple ones around the city. I use it for everything (I may have a problem). I just did a turkey for a work event and someone told me it was the best they ever had. Steaks are fantastic, tender and perfectly done but my favorite thing to do is brisket. You will need a cooler to fit the whole thing but I sous vide it for a day, cool it down and then smoke it for at least 4 hours. Turns out amazing every time.
