I like the fact that you can come here and see such a wide variety of people and their thoughts/ideas and that it puts them in a place to be interacted with equally by everyone. If someone has a lot of "friends" they will have an advantage over everyone else and have their things be viewed or voted on more than someone who doesn't have as much friends.

It's cool to see your friends happy to have their custom minis on the table, it really gives them the feeling of having their character out there. A couple of them have started showing interest so we're going to meet up soon and I'll start going over the basics with them.
Great to see another minipainter here! Keep the updates coming.

Some bent parts but nothing a little hot water won't fix.
As far as colors go I usually just pick a color I think will look good then work from there with complimentary colors and try to stick to a theme of "warm" or "cool". I'm still working on adding more contrast, what looks good from 6" doesnt show up as much from 5' at the table, so if you really want the details to stand out you need to up the contrast.

One of our Pathfinder 2e players has had to drop out of the group, so the rest of us opted to play boardgames while we take a little hiatus from PF.
Me and a some friends tried Scythe last weekend. I really like the aesthetic, it's like alternate history post WW2 with mechs. The game has you produce resources and battle on a hexagonal map to achieve certain requirements gaining victory points as you do.
It took about 2.5-3hrs to complete with setup and some time to learn, but I never had a feeling of a slow pace like I've gotten with Risk or other games. It does a good job of keeping you engaged and the turns moving along. The only thing I disliked was that there's not a lot of interaction between players besides a few battles or moving into someone's territory. We all had fun though and we'll definitely be playing it again.
It's also encouraged us to try other board games. We've decided on Rising Sun next Friday and a friend wanted to pick up Arkham Horror. I've got a Sentinels of the Multiverse Kickstarter coming that I'm looking forward to as well.
