I never know if I should recommend it to anyone but to me the Persona series just hits the perfect social/dungeon crawling/turn based combat combination that I love in an rpg and I couldn’t be happier managing to sneak in 15-20 min of the game before my day starts.

Comment on Norway approves nineteen oil and gas projects, saying the resulting investments are worth over $19 billion in ~enviro
blackstar2012 No not surprising at all. They’re still heavily investing in renewables but I guess the hope would be that the investments end up skewing more towards greener initiativesNo not surprising at all. blackstar2012 Thanks for this. That is very interesting! It makes sense but I never would have associated less coal and more sunshine together. Thanks for this. That is very interesting!

It’s had issues obviously but I feel happier living in a place I own because I always feel like I’m improving something for myself and it’s removed a lot of anxiety about being kicked out or silly rules and inspections.

blackstar2012 I do wonder if the ethical considerations of experimenting on embryos still apply though. Even if they “artificial” I’m not entirely sure the issues would really be any different. Not saying I’m necessarily against it but I’m just not sure it’s so clear cut.

I think part of the struggle for the rest of the industry might be coming from the x86 to Arm translation. It’s not been a big issue (at least for me) on the Macs because I don’t use anything that’s particularly heavy or would suffer from emulation(? not entirely sure how Rosetta works) but a lot of the reasons people end up with Windows include software support which I think hasn’t been great on the Arm version of Windows.
My only gripe so far has been with the M1 base’s limitation of 1 external screen without something like DisplayLink.

The only real complaint I have is that I don’t get to play Monk anymore :’)
Tbh whilst I’ve found the minimalist shoes help me a lot I always tell people to just try doing stuff without any shoes and see if they find it helps. Like doing squats deadlifts etc with shoes or stay at home without any shoes.
A lot of people in my life didn’t really notice a difference so they stuck with it. Some noticed less pain and made the switch. I think the problem is that these movements try to be a “one size” fits all kind of thing and that just doesn’t work.
