What's crazy to me is that of the 34 players announced, 9 of them are from the Hurricanes. This shouldn't be too surprising, as the Hurricanes beat the Chiefs with a whopping 60-5 in the finals for this season of Super Rugby: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/sport/608292/hurricanes-blow-chiefs-away-in-windy-welly-to-win-super-rugby-pacific-title
Explanation: the All Blacks is the national rugby team for New Zealand, Hurricanes is the Wellington regional team and the Chiefs being the team for Hamilton.

intoxicated_diver LinkAs much as I enjoyed playing GTA5 and RDR2, I played them years after their release and I got them on sale. So far I have stayed away from the hype and marketing surrounding GTA6 and will likely...As much as I enjoyed playing GTA5 and RDR2, I played them years after their release and I got them on sale. So far I have stayed away from the hype and marketing surrounding GTA6 and will likely not be getting the game for a year or two at the very least. Throw in the price on release and the actions of Rockstar and Take Two and that makes my decision to not get it on release even easier.

At the time, he seemed so difficult but I kept going at it and the rush that I got after beating him was unlike anything else.

intoxicated_diver LinkI am fluent in English, but I can also speak Mandarin and Japanese. I'm not fluent in either, but I can hold a basic conversation that's not just "Hello, what's your name?". I know it's not part of the questions but I did give learning Korean a go (self-taught mind you) a few months ago, and have gotten to the point where I can read slowly. Maybe that's something that could also be asked; what language do you want to learn/have you attempted to learn?

intoxicated_diver Link ParentI don't know how to put spoilers, but spoilers about part 2. Looking back on it, I'm quite disappointed with what happened with Nayuta in part 2. It was really refreshing to see Denji and Nayuta...I don't know how to put spoilers, but spoilers about part 2.
Looking back on it, I'm quite disappointed with what happened with Nayuta in part 2. It was really refreshing to see Denji and Nayuta living their lives together (minus the Makima tendencies). Nayuta dying was shocking, and I think if part 2 was "better" it could've really added to the story.
What I think is a factor in why I think part 2 is lacking is how seemingly little Denji changes as a character over the course of part 2. But maybe it wasn't just Denji. I'm not particularly impressed with how Asa has been handled lately. Not to mention Quanxi and the other hybrids bought back from part 1.
I love Tatsuki Fujimoto's works. I love Chainsaw Man part 1. I adore Look Back. And I respect Fire Punch for what it tried to do, even if I'm not the biggest fan. And I also enjoyed his oneshots; it shows that he's a diverse writer who isn't tied down to shonen stories. Which is why if there is Chansaw Man part 3, I really, really hope that he takes his time.

intoxicated_diver LinkI'm conflicted on this. On the one hand, I love Chainsaw Man Public Safety Arc. I've not watched the anime, and I have no intention on doing so (except for the movie) but I enjoyed it so much I...I'm conflicted on this. On the one hand, I love Chainsaw Man Public Safety Arc. I've not watched the anime, and I have no intention on doing so (except for the movie) but I enjoyed it so much I bought volumes 7-13 during a trip.
I don't feel as enthusiastic about Chainsaw Man post Public Safety Arc. There were some cool moments and chapters, but I think the art has taken a hit in terms of quality and the story isn't as gripping. It kind of feels like the story wasn't as thought out/planned compared to Part 1. I might type some more when I have some time but I'm a bit relieved (?) that Part 2 will be ending soon.

Not exactly a holiday memory, but it's a nice one I look back on fondly. I had decided one weekend to fly to a different city to meet up with some friend. It was a snap decision, like right there and then. It was during summer, and on that particular evening it was forcasted to be cloudless. So we drove maybe half an hour, an hour out of the city. The whole sky was filled with stars; it felt unreal.
And then the next day I flew back home, as I had work the next day (flew out on a Saturday, flew back on Sunday). I usually never do something this spontaneous, so I really treasure those two days.Merry Xmas and happy holidays!
I did word it weirdly. When I learnt about this, I was surprised at the numbers. But if one were to take a step back and look at the performance of the team overall and throughout the season, it starts to make more sense. Maybe I should have said "in light of the past performance this season, this may be less surprising".
