    New hope is a scenic train that goes out and back. It's sometimes done up for holidays like Polar Express or a Halloween theme. The trail does go all the way to Allentown, it also splits in Easton and goes north to somewhere. When I lived in Bethlehem, I was 4 houses down from a branch off of it and the trail is something I really miss.

    Yes. And I know you mentioned that you just play with your wife on lunch breaks. But there is a real joy in teaching someone this game and seeing them "get it"

    I made some squash soup that I canned last year that went bad in the jars and I didn't know what went wrong. Looks like you can't can squash. Now I know not to try again
