Honestly. I’m still shocked by how many people just click over and over again and say “I don’t know, it’s just not working!” without taking 10 seconds to think and go through the goddamn basics. It’s not hard. If you search and you can’t follow the instructions on the first few links, yeah, call IT. But at least try. That’s almost all I do all day is just search computer issues. Of course over time I’ve built up a memory bank of common problems, but just because I can fix it doesn’t mean I had the fix in mind. I searched it, clicked a link, and followed the instructions. If that doesn’t work, I go onto the next link. Then if that doesn’t work, rephrase your issue and try again. Over time you’ll notice how you’ll just be able to start fixing stuff without looking it up.
Sorry. Just at work right now and am annoyed.

You have a problem, call Dell and they'll send out a tech to do all the work for you while you can focus on the other bigger tasks. If you don't have that, then you have to troubleshoot the hardware (which can take a very long time), identify what piece is dying, buy it, wait for it to ship, then find the time to install it. By that point you're hoping that it was the proper fix. From a hardware enthusiasts perspective it makes no sense to them to go the warranty route, because why not good it yourself? But from a business standpoint it makes a lot more sense. You save time and money from replacing shit by having someone come out and do it for you.
Not only that, hardware vulnerabilities can pop up here and there, and replacing hardware keeps that chance more minimal. Software vulnerabilities can be patched pretty easily, not hardware ones (ie Spectre/meltdown). There were patches for them that mitigate the situation, but now that a hardware exploit is out there it will be very hard to keep 100% secure on a software level.

It works pretty well, but I only wash my hair 2 times max a week, any more than that cause my dandruff to go on a rampage.

From what I understand c# is based on c++, so my thinking was learn the skeleton a little to have a better understanding of the full body. Like drawing kinda. When I was doing that I took a basic anatomy course which helped quite a bit.
Not very far. Maybe like ~1 hour. It's alright, it will get me started. I'd like to see if there's anything else people can recommend for online courses. I've tried getting into coding before, but I didn't have the urge/patience to get past the first lesson. It's going better now that I'm willing/wanting to learn it.
Well to start off it will be super basic shapes moving on a screen and getting them to interact with each other. I like games that are relaxing to play with no stress/skill required really. Games like Animal Crossing, abzu, mini metro, and baba is you where you don't have to worry about much. There's no real threat, you're just kinda doing your own thing, you know? I'm not really into the big expansive open world games. They give me too much anxiety.

Divinity: Original Sin 2
I've been playing this with two of my friends and it's been great. We're about 40 hours in (playtime), but only about ~18 hours into the story (lots of reloading). It's our first game like this, so it has been steep a learning curve for us all, although we have played other RPGs before (ie D1/2/3, TL1/2, Path of Exile, etc). although those are ARPGs, we know how to build characters is all I'm saying. Overall I'm really enjoying it. I'm playing as a "druid", although this game doesn't really feel like it has any official builds as you can go any direction at any point. It's a lot of fun to summon my incarnate, buff him to high hell, and see him shred through enemies.
One gripe about it though, that seems to be shared across a lot of reviews I've read before playing, is that they love ground status effects. I can't tell you how many of our battles have ended in most of the map just being lit up in flames. I'll probably play through it at least once more after we finish, maybe with them, maybe not. I want to try some other builds to see how it changes things up
I'm glad I am playing it with them so I can just focus on my character and my character alone. I think having to care about all four characters at once would be too overwhelming, but that also leads to me wanting to play through it more than once as previously stated. Also, I didn't know "origin" characters (as they call them) have more quests, story, and lore behind them when I was creating a character, so I feel I missed out on that. Will definitely be trying out a team of all origin characters next playthrough.
Baldur's Gate
Tried playing this one with some of the same friends. By that point they were use to how free form DOS2 was and didn't like the limitations this game has in multiplayer. I haven't played this before, but I've been getting more into DnD lately and really want to. We'll see how it goes.
Pillars of Eternity
Decided to play this one when no friends are around to play the others, and man. This game has a lot going on. Still only a few hours into it, but I'm enjoying it so far. Not much to say other than I'm definitely not use to the RTwP gameplay. I know it's based of Baldur's Gates style, but like I said, we didn't even really get into it so it's my first time coming across this style. Lots of fun so far, but just not too deep into it yet.
Games in my backlog I have queued up to play when I finish some of these others:
Loop Hero
Planescape: Torment
PoE 2
BG 2
Pathfinder: Kingmaker
Tyranny
Icewind Dale
Shadowrun Series
many more
As you can see, a lot of these are "CRPGs" as they call them. Playing DOS2 really helped me learn how to like these kind of games. It's a genre I've always wanted to play, but every time I tried them I got overwhelmed with everything going on I would just stop. But since DOS2, it helped me realize how to play these games and get more invested into the world and characters. So I picked up a bunch during this summer sale and I'm dedicating some of my free time to play through them. Excited to see them all through!
