The API is still there, it is just priced out of existence for any reasonable use cases.

What a fun looking game. I remember really enjoying Armored Core V on thos Xbox 360, and this looks like a fantastic modernized version.

What kind of pioneer decks have you been enjoying lately? I usually play Greasefang, but the rise of Spirits as a top competitive deck has made it a really poor meta choice.

So I'm one of your many Reddit Refugees, and the idea of more specific groups feels like a natural next step towards a growing site. You can still keep broad, default groups for logged-out folks, and let niche groups dive deep into their interests at the same time. Being able to opt-out of default groups is nice too -- I like most of the topics being discussed, but I'm not interested in sports, so turning that off was a benefit.

My time on reddit was, far and away, browsing content related to Magic the Gathering. I've had some great interactions with folks within the Tabletop Games weekly thread, but it feels inappropriate for me to, say, make a deep-dive post discussing the deck I played at my local tournament last week, since that isn't relevant to the bulk of users here. But if there was an opt-in group when I could post it to? I'd feel at home.

And that's what I love about romhacks - I've never heard of this, so it's like having a surprise sequel to a game I played as a kid, released almost 20 years later. Thanks for the link!

I'd be up for that! Don't play much EDH myself these days -- ever since it got rebranded Commander and got 1000 cards per year printed for it, it lost the charm. I've been playing 60 card formats...

I'd be up for that! Don't play much EDH myself these days -- ever since it got rebranded Commander and got 1000 cards per year printed for it, it lost the charm. I've been playing 60 card formats for the better part of two decades now, but know that I'm in the minority compared to 100 card enjoyers.
Maybe it makes sense to make a spoiler thread when new sets are being spoiled? I think Commander Masters spoilers start up in a couple weeks.

Played at the weekly MTG night last week, got to try the new Grixis Archfiend deck in Pioneer and ran it to an undefeated record. Would be thrilled to chat about magic if anyone else on here is a fan!

Honestly? Niche, hyper-focused BBCode forums with a few dozen hardcore members. I was a member of a community based around a defunct tabletop game for years after the game ended. Got to know some people's lives in depth without ever knowing their real names, and as an otherwise lonely person during my formative years, they were a lifesaver.

I paid for the subscription during covid lockdown as it was how I spent a TON of my time, and it was great. But for $13/month it's not worth it for a game I only fire up occasionally.

I've put thousands of hours into every Bethesda RPG, yes including Fallout 76. This one looks way more polished-at-launch than the others, and I look forward to losing thousands of hours to it too
