If the question you want answered is 'is D&D for me', the only way to find out is to play. All the video blogs in the world won't help you answer that question.
In the US we have game shops with things like D&D adventurer's league, or the Pathfinder Society. These are open to the public and will likely have people that are happy to explain the rules.
If those aren't available in your area, then online is your best bet. Something like https://www.reddit.com/r/lfg might be helpful.

To me the channel is about 'imagining others complexly'. So often it feels like my various feeds are full of surface level assumptions without really interrogating the world around us. To me, vlogbrothers is an exception.
They walked through the candidates tax plans in the last election. Not to show how bad they are, but to really try to understand them.

I found out that the year that I was graduating from middle school he was switching to the high school I was heading to. So I was done with that noise.

The judge says that Trump's Twitter is a public space curated by the government, like a...It took some mental gymnastics for me to try to wrap my head around how the court got to their decision.
The judge says that Trump's Twitter is a public space curated by the government, like a park. Therefore the government can't exclude specific people from it for their speech. So just like my city can't deny neo-nazis the right to exercise their right to speech simply because they are neo-nazis.
That logic seems a bit stretched to me. When the president blocks someone on twitter, their mentions no longer show up when people look for things associated with him. To me this feels more like controlling who gets in to your political rally. Politicians need to be careful about what comments they associate themselves with, even by proximity. While Trump says lots of things people don't like, he also certainly has forms of speech he doesn't want to associate with himself.
Here's the thing - I hate Donald Trump. And I love free speech. I just don't buy that these people's speech has really been curtailed.

As an aside, I wonder at what point would you want trolls in a community like this? Part of what will need to be done for tildes to be successful is for it to be robust to trolling. Manual ban-hammer only works for so long...
