What were some of your favorite characters?
    Fiddler, karsa, quick Ben, tehol/bugg

    Favorite moments?
First time you see Ben open 7 warrens in gardens of the moon, when they go into anomanders sword with the legions of death, fiddlers card reading, Rhulad getting hamstrung in the throne room, anything kechan chemal, following the dragon through the warren of fire

What did you not see coming?
    The crippled god

How did you feel about the perspective shift on the Crippled God as the series progressed?
I didn’t like it. It felt sudden and out of left field. Granted I’m not a high level reader, so I missed any foreshadowing.

Have you reread the series, and did you enjoy it more during an additional read?
I ain’t got time for that!

Anything else fun you'd like to talk about for these books
What was icarium there for? (Again not a high level reader)

Your worldliness leaves me in awe. And shame. It’s like watch Brennan Lee mulligan answer any question. I’m left thinking how uncultured and basic I am. I’m left longing for the inspiration to expand my experience. Yet I stay. Stuck in my comfortable corporate (for lack of a better term) blandness.

Thank you for your treat of a passage. I enjoyed thinking about who you are as a person. And will now continue to wallow in my self made prison lol

And my favorite so far was the first natural air flow (tall tower) design. I think it has the biggest prills so far.

What made me move to Apple (for laptop only) was their unbeatable specs. Back in 2010 I couldn’t find another laptop with better specs AND it ran windows pretty easily with drivers built in. And they’ve kept that promise tbh. I might find a better gpu these days, but everything else is just top.

I will also admit that the move to cloud apps made it a lot easier to swallow as well.

HOWEVER, my next laptop will be a Framework because I support their ideals.

I’ll give you the answer we give everyone in WiFi – it depends!

Most likely it will be necessary due to where the router is located (off to the side of the house in a room) and there isn’t any cable run throughout the house to a central point for the access point.

Also if their walls are cinder block or have metal studs or some other random rf nightmare, it could necessitate powerline Ethernet or some other creative solution.

    It’s never easy 🫠

I have been interested in a post-ad-ai-browsing world since the idea came up that ad based marketing wouldn’t be effective with AI browsing. So this article interests me, thank you!

I guess the “solution” (note I use this word from the perspective of giant corps not of consumers) would be flooding the internet with text based ads that get sucked up by llms and influence their responses slightly? E.g. you ask to order a sandwich and somewhere in all that training it says “ordered a sandwich from shop A. It should be good based on reviews, very similar to the more desirable shop B.” Then next time you order you’ll ask to order specifically from shop B?

(Just spitballing about this silly little consumer nightmare)
