I've mainly been watching JJBA to catch up, but I also watch senko San and boku no hero acedamia.
Can anyone recommend me something like Full Metal Alchemist? I know it’s kind of the gold standard, but I loved both of them so much.
I’ve seen a few of the big ones. Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, .hack//SIGN, and possibly more I can’t remember.

Have you seen Ergo Proxy yet? It's not like FMA per se, but it does have a very similar feel to it, IMO.
I have not. Is it dubbed?
I really liked the mood of Ergo Proxy, but the references to French "intellectuals" made me cringe quite a bit (I'm French). It's funny to see how Japanese romanticize them though.
Have you tried Hunter x Hunter? Like others vetting their recommendations, it's not exactly like FMA in terms of tone or characters, but the vibes are similar.
Plus, I just need to recommend Hunter x Hunter more :)

Also: I am currently reading the shield hero LN's because the anime is over. Having read the WN before, and hearing that the LN's are even better, I have high hopes.
Haha, I haven't read HxH. I just saw the 2011 anime, so I got a form of closure.
I haven't read the manga, but I've heard how legendary the wait is... But can you blame the guy? When you're married to the creator of Sailor Moon, I feel like you get to set your schedule. That, and apparently health issues, which sucks.

Finished up the first ten episodes of Black Clover, it's trash, but it's okay trash, and I have no desire to continue. Dororo is about to finish, and it's looking to be all fun and games until... you know.
Had a complete obsession with Blue Exorcist recently. Watched both seasons and bought the manga afterwards and it just left me craving for more.
Heck yes! Good times with this show. I love the cooking demon!

Finished Jiraishin few weeks back and I daresay it is one of the best seinen category cop drama out there. No bullshit fan service, episodic format story and a ice cold detective consumed by the ruthlessness of Shinjuku precient.
Gintama ended today it had the perfect ending befitting the 'Gintama' theme.
I watched the new Battle Angel Alita movie last week, it was pretty bad, but it made me want to read the manga again. I didn't read it since I was a teenager, and I still enjoyed it, I like the mood, the universe and the drawings are really solid (most of the time).
