    I was surprised at how much abuse the potatoes and fried chips seem to take during the process, especially in the seasoning tumbler machine. And yet, by the end, the majority still looked whole...

    I was surprised at how much abuse the potatoes and fried chips seem to take during the process, especially in the seasoning tumbler machine. And yet, by the end, the majority still looked whole and unbroken when they were bagged. Which makes me wonder what kind of abuse the bags themselves take during shipping that causes so many to end up broken by the time they reach us in stores.

      That’s because they are not put under weight or pressure. When many of the chips get broken when someone takes them out of the boxes they grab them and it breaks them.

      Yeah his videos are awesome. Nice cookbook release a while back too (some of my othe favorite cooking YouTube's have been releasing their own as well.... Must be something going on lol))
