A heads up to anyone who ordered this (or any of the other mega itch.io bundles): itch.io doesn't auto add the games to your library so as not to flood it. To add a game to your library, you have to access the game's download page, after which it will show up.
Unfortunately, this means that if you want everything in the bundle to show up in your library, you have to go one-by-one through all the items, which is super tedious.
I did that for past bundles but didn't have the patience for it for this one, so I found this userscript which automates the process. I used it with Tampermonkey on Firefox and it worked perfectly.
thank you for this! Sometimes rooting through the pile of games/stuff is fun, but sometimes I'm just trying to get to something specific. this site is super helpful.

Indeed great script find @kfwyre, using it for this bundle and the previous "Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality" that I had only claimed the few games I'd actually downloaded so far.

The people of Ukraine are under attack. As game developers we want to create new worlds, not to destroy the one we have. That's why we've banded together to present this charity bundle to help Ukrainians survive this ordeal and thrive after the war ends. This cause has resonated with creators around the globe, to the extent that our bundle contains almost 1,000 games, tabletop RPGs, books, etc.
Over 700 creators have joined in support to donate their work. All proceeds from this bundle will be split between the following charities:
International Medical Corps provides medical assistance in the region. They have very low fundraising overhead (1% of income), with 89% of donations going to medical aid and 10% to administration.
Voices of Children, a Ukrainian organization that helps children cope with the horrors of war, PTSD, readjusting to school, and getting back to being kids. They have also been doing a lot of grassroots impromptu work during the war, such as helping set up shelters. Our hope is that this war will be over soon, and they can begin the work of healing these kids' hearts.
Of these nearly 1,000 products, more than 600 have never been in a major bundle before. Several prominent developers and publishers signed up to itch.io specifically to be in this bundle. And there's something for everyone - we have almost 600 digital video games, over 300 analog tabletop RPGs, and dozens of asset packs, books, zines, and comics, soundtracks/music, and a host of other products. Also unique to this bundle, we only allowed paid products.
We kept the minimum low, but we highly urge you to pay above the minimum if you can afford to do so. All proceeds will be split between the charities 50/50.
We stand with Ukrainians, and with all people around the world who despise war.
This is really killer. I just bought it for my son, so it's nice that the games are hidden by default. I'm not sure how many are 10-year-old friendly, but it's a great cause and a really stellar...
This is really killer. I just bought it for my son, so it's nice that the games are hidden by default. I'm not sure how many are 10-year-old friendly, but it's a great cause and a really stellar bundle. $50 well spent, and hey, now I have an itch.io account. Just wish I hadn't paid $20 for Celeste (PC) alone 2 weeks ago AFTER the kid became obsessed with the PS4 version ($20, more than a year ago) and just HAD to try the mods.
I have to say, though, Celeste with mods alone would be worth all I've paid so far, based on how many excited "come check this out!" moments we've had.
Celeste has mods? I'm a fan of the game, but haven't played for a few years (I think I got frustrated somewhere towards the end of the B Sides). Are there any mods that you'd recommend?

But essentially, if you install the Everest mod loader, or maybe the Olympus installer...either way they work together...then you can browse the gamebanana mods and load them all from one screen. He loves it.
Just keep in mind that some mods/levels lean way into the precision platformer aspect (a la Geometry Dash) but there are others that are calmer. Enjoy!
I chipped in $20, and am going through it out of curiosity. All of the big name bangers are on the first page, it seems, but there's a ton of great stuff in here from TTPRGs to game asset kits, to...

As usual for these you can support a good cause and get access to a bunch of stuff you may not have otherwise seen, and maybe even kick devs more money if you dig their contributions. I discovered some greats like Celeste and Lenna's Inception through the Social Justice bundle, for example, in this one I found Zeno Rogue, the person behind HyperRogue, made a non-euclidian falling block game, several experimental single-player table games, and more.
Anyone got any recommendations from the bundle? There's a lot of games to pick from. Only one I've got experience with is Baba is You (puzzle game) which is good, and I've heard good things about...

CrossCode is an excellent game – probably my favorite of the lot. Aesthetically, it feels like a fusion of Chrono Trigger and Trials of Mana except with more modern gameplay and pixel art.

I agree that CrossCode is excellent, but the controls aren't friendly to anyone with repetitive stress injuries. Since you need to click once per small shot, and an enemy may need 10 shots to kill, my hand and wrist were dying trying to play it. I ended up using a macro to make one of my other mouse buttons do a rapid fire when held down, and that made the game much better.
Thanks for the recommendations, @psi and @MimicSquid! Been having fun with CrossCode since psi recommended it, and a macro for rapid fire is a great idea to help with that.

You can't go wrong with Celeste, Baba Is You, and SUPERHOT. All of those are absolute standouts in their respective genres.
Here are a couple more I'd recommend:
A Short Hike is a short, super-chill little 3D adventure.
Bleed and Bleed 2 are both high-octane, ridiculous 2D action shooters with very high skill ceilings.
Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! is a hotkey efficiency trainer masquerading as a restaurant simulation game.
LOVE 2: kuso is a minimalist platformer with interesting level design.
Rusty Lake Hotel is a dark, odd, eerie point-and-click escape room-type game.
Sagebrush is a dark first-person narrative adventure game about investigating a cult.
Super Hexagon is a game that teaches you how to get better at Super Hexagon.
Humble bundle is also doing a huge sale: https://www.humblebundle.com/stand-with-ukraine-bundle Over $8 million raised so far. All proceeds go to Ukraine. $40+ for a lot of notable games like...

Another helpful tool: this website lets you explore/filter/sort the mega itch.io bundles, and it also includes a random game chooser.

The bundle has raised four million dollars so far.
Absolutely incredible.

No worries about the timing. And thanks for the link. I'll take a look.

For anybody interested there's also a TTRPG Stands for Ukraine Bundle
