I mean it’s an interesting, if rather obvious, article but I can’t lie, I am disappointed at the lack of a 60fps option. We’ve been spoilt so far this gen with some excellent examples, such as Miles Morales and Horizon Forbidden West, and for me at least the precedent has been set. I will say Jedi Survivors performance mode was so poor at launch that I ended up playing through in quality mode and found that acceptable, so I can only hope Starfield is absolutely rock solid at 30fps.
It's Bethesda so it probably won't be. Anecdotally, I played Skyrim early on, using a PC that had more than enough power to run it, it wasn't unplayable but it was definitely janky. I won't be a...

Here's the companion article as well, but Digital Foundry is one of the few sources where I think the video is the better format: https://www.eurogamer.net/digitalfoundry-2023-the-starfield-tech-breakdown-what-we-learned-from-bethesdas-deep-dive
Thanks for that, would like to at least listen at work but the bandwidth is just not enough.
