I know there are some fans of Deep Rock Galactic on here, and I know there are some Survivor's-like fans on here, so happy eating! I'm the former, and I'm definitely excited since I've only dabbled in a bit of Survivor style games, (mostly brotato)
I've got tons of time in DRG and a ton of time in VS, Brotato, 20 minutes to dawn... Lots of different Survivor games and I've just... Not had any hype for this? Maybe the digging will add enough...

Maybe the digging will add enough of a tactical difference to make it stand out but I just haven't been feeling it since jump. I guess since DRG and the Board Game are both co-op experiences first it just feels like it's missing the special sauce.
Then again, I've got over a hundred solo missions in DRG as well, so maybe I'll secretly love it.

I played a bunch of DRG - not too much, I have 50ish hours in the game. I got to play the Deep Rock Survivor when they had a demo out, I think for Steam Next? It was my first experience with the survivor type of gameplay, and I wasn't really that much of a fan? It felt really slow/clunky and it felt like it ramped up unevenly. The digging added another layer to it, but 90% of the time I felt like I was digging through walls to get away from the massive amounts of mobs that were spawning that I couldn't kill fast enough because all the weapons were super-slow or low-damage.
I've since played a bunch of Soulstone Survivors, and it felt much more fun.
Edit: That said, I'm gonna get the game because maybe having some experience with the survivor genre will help... and also because dwarves :D
