Fallout: London is a total conversion mod of Bethesda Softworks' Fallout 4 developed by Team FOLON. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic rendition of London.
Fallout: London is set in 2237, placing it between the events of Fallout and Fallout 2.
Fallout: London has been in development since 2019. It has a main map around the same size as Fallout 4, with its five smaller hub areas combining to be roughly the same size as the Far Harbor DLC

If you own it on Steam you have to be familiar with Steams' dev console or install a downgrading program into which you put your Steam login, because there's no easy way to downgrade an installed game within Steam. And then go back to GOG to get the actual mod. Not a pleasant user experience, to be sure, but it also gave me a good reason to update my Steam password.
I do, and a password manager, but even so I didn't really want to leave the password unchanged. Probably overcautious, but it was a quick update and seemed reasonable to do.

I played a highly reviewed mod for either FO3 or NV and thought the story was.... strange. I can't find the name of it to save my life. Does anyone have thoughts on the story for this one? (I know...

Does anyone have thoughts on the story for this one? (I know it just "released" but it's had public beta releases for a long time, right?)
You mean Fallout: New California? I heard that the story really went off the rails. I've just got FO: London installed; I'll let you know how the writing feels after I've gotten into it a bit.

I've gotten it installed, but ran into a known bug that causes an endless loading screen upon starting a new game. Hopefully someone else can give some feedback regarding the writing.

Having gotten into it a little bit (boy, the beginning is rough on Survival,) it's surreal. It's very Fallout, but the absence of Americana is more jarring than I was expecting. It's what you...

Well, due to it's size and the fact that FO:L's website seems to be down the way to get it is their giveaway it seems. Plus, GOG specifically uses the 'giveaway' language.

Sad it won’t make it to Xbox, but what an effort.

Do you not have Steam Guard on your account? It's probably my most used 2FA besides my work accounts.

Fair enough! just wanted to double check you were aware :)
I appreciate it. If I hadn't known about it, it would have been a really important upgrade to protecting my account.

Yep, that was the one. Thanks!

Well, it's a free mod, so it'll always be given away haha

Website works fine for me
