Tildes Minecraft PVP event
EDIT: Congrats to Secret_Online for winning the free for all / the Orange team for winning the team event!
====
I'm organizing a PVP event on the Tildes Minecraft server. Posting here in case anyone would like to join. All gear will be provided for the event.
Exact time will be March 14th, 2pm EDT
The first game will be a free for all, battle royale. Players will start with nothing, and through scavenging the arena find the tools they need to survive. Making alliances is not against the rules, but just remember only one player can win.
The second game will be team based, with the Orange side fighting the Blues in a series of rounds. Each round will have an objective to complete with teams earning points until one side wins.
Hope to see you there!
I'll try to be there! I have been quite busy with other things than minecraft the past two weeks but this should be fun!
That was fun. It was my first time doing any PvP in Minecraft. Thanks all for participating, and @Bront for hosting.
Likewise, first experience. I begin to see the appeal of actual PvP (at least for varied events like this) vs the srs bzns that my mind cast it into. I doubt I'll ever get sweaty about it, though. I'm too much of a rodeo clown at heart.
Really fun event, thanks for organizing it. I have recorded a video, just need to figure out a good way to share it. YouTube would not work, as my account is just my irl name.
Next time this is done, someone else should do some of the prep work so that you can participate
I say upload it on pornhub
I am excited for this. Also, just finished making commemorative swords that Bront can hand out to every participant, so it should be a fun time. Thanks for organizing this Bront!
I'm going to try to make it there - I just had gum surgery, and it's surprisingly exhausting...
Haven't played MC in years but used to be part of a big PvP server years ago (must have been like 2014... wow, time flies).
I'd love to join! I've completely forgotten how the game works but I'll do my best to be there, lol.
Did anyone else watch the Mindcrack server's "Ultra Hardcore (UHC)" tournaments back in the day? (Or continue to watch them? They actually started running the tourneys again during the pandemic, I believe).
EDIT: I cannot find my computer mouse so I will be bowing out 🤦 have fun, y'all!
I used to watch the TeamCrafted ones back in the day, but I think I haven't watched any since the time I quit minecraft due to 1.9's release
I made a little shrine in my house's basement celebrating the winning team!

As an orange team member for a few seconds, I've decided to take all credit for victory.
I mean, I only joined because someone needed to replace you so the teams wouldn't be unbalanced, and I did give the creesch-coloured team 2 of its 3 points, so you're technically around 66.66% correct...
I mean, who'd ever hit a girl, right?
Ah damn, I was really excited for this but hadn’t realized it conflicts with an important commitment :(
I feel bad about not being able to participate! just connection issues shrug
It sucks you didn't get to join - I missed you a ton.
I didn't participate in the free-for-all but I did my best to cover for you and make Poland proud in the CTF o7
Sadly I have to be at work right when the event starts. :(
@u/Bront, any way for people to join to spectate? I do not enjoy PvP Minecraft very much (esp. with my ping lol), but I do like watching and cheering on from the sidelines :)
Edit: unfortunately life got in the way :(
I built a small observation deck where you can watch the whole arena, especially if you have a freecam mod.
Awesome, thanks for letting me know!
I forgot to make trophies for observers, only participants
