Tildes unofficial Minecraft server
Got it up and running, currently will do fine with about 25 players.
It's not set up locally so the hosting fee is $6/month, I'll leave it up for at least one month.
Currently running vanilla 1.13.1, will modify if requested.

Have fun and please don't grief spawn!
I stopped with Minecraft ages ago (it was still a buggy but fun game without Notch being rich) but I'll gladly give it a try. Thanks :)
Idk if i can commit to anything major, but I ran a little server for my discord group a while back and it's still up running on that mineOS thing.
Idk actually how to use it though, and whenever i tried to update the server to the newest thing all I found was forum posts referencing menus that didn't exist. All I had the ability to do was start a new server with a custom jar, and do it that way. Anyway, rambling aside; the server is still up but nobody at all is using it.
It's VERY overkill since we wanted to have a vanilla instance and a modded one, and then we go far too carried away with mods. So I could probably archive your server in a similar way once you've pulled the hosting. Also apparently with mineOS webui thing you can set up accounts for other admins, so maybe that could work also
2 Servers Running 0 Players Online 2516:45:57 Uptime 2.73GB RAM FREE
huh.... I guess we stopped playing minecraft a WHILE ago, now i feel a little worse for forgetting about the server for that long lmao
also if someone is actually decent at all this stuff, hmu and we can prolly use the server to have a few smaller scale mod server/ adventure maps and whatnot i'd imagine
edit: I just checked the webUI and 1.13.1 jar is there, so I'm p sure that I could just import your world and be on my way.
It's got 8 x86-64 cores and 16 GB ram total btw, EU hosted
Where is it hosted, US or EU? I remember that performance across the pond was always pretty bad. Australians are out of luck either way.
CA, so says geoip tools.
Already set up a communal mining area near spawn. Got down to diamond level pretty easily, so mine away!
You mean 1.13.1?
yep
Well. It's been forever since I played just default vanilla. It's gonna be interesting!
On the upside, texture packs will just work out of the box instead of having to hunt for hours for all the bits!
May I run a second server which is modded, so we have both? modded and unmodded?
definitely dude, i'll switch the server description to tildes (vanilla)
Any update on the modded server?
it's hosted in canada, there is an option for "premium" hosting but I didn't want to invest too much into what could've been an empty server, next month i might opt for a better connection for non-US based Tildoes :)
I'm enjoying this!
Just found an abandoned mineshaft at 977 / 23 / 882
Does it have at least anti xray plugin? Also, is it running in offline-mode=true?
Is there even an x-ray mod for 1.13.1?
Forge is still on 1.12.2.
You can always make an x-ray texture pack pretty easily.
no plugins atm because there wasnt a general consensus on what was wanted, I personally don't mind if people x-ray because even with plugins you can still just modify a texture pack. online mode is enabled so that skins work, I can change that but I would need to add a few plugins first.
What that has to do? Anti Xray AFAIK loads random blocks that are not on sight of the player, thus preventing Xray usage
i was unaware of how that worked, thanks.
