It appears to be based on the PSP and PS4 versions of the game rather than the PlayStation original. There’s support for external controllers, achievements, and a “new continue feature.”
I remember the PSP port being pretty good. The big complaint that I mostly see about it is the re-dubbed dialogue, because the old, terrible dub is so famous.

if you have any modern controller you can pair it with your phone. yes playing this game as a touch screen thing is a travesty, but pairing a controller makes it worth it.

Did you play Planescape on a phone or tablet? I've looked at it and considered buying it before, but I wasn't sure how well it would play on a phone.

edit: i wouldnt play this on a phone with the limited space. you need to have the ui and such
