Sending an email while pretending to be someone else would be bad no matter the circumstances, but in this case Kotick's actions directly reinforce the original allegations made against him and the company. How he chose to handle this issue is spectacularly revealing.

Edit: Have been informed that this particular group has always not been comfortable with Kotick in charge, but they didn't have a WaPo article about them, so that might be something too.
