If you liked the John Wick movies you'll likely enjoy it (they are in the same universe according to the writer of both). It was serviceablely acted and a fun rampage movie.

This didn't really feel meta which is a relief. = I don't expect them to save the movie or fix it, but I guess if that's what it is I'm definitely curious.

This seems utterly pointless. The entire appeal of the movie is its poor quality. If it was better written and acted, it's still going to be bad, but probably not funny bad. If they make it bad on...

If they make it bad on purpose then what's the point? You lose all the charm when it's a deliberately bad movie instead of an honest attempt at a good one.

They actually bought the rights to it because they were afraid they would be sued for copyright infringement. Sure, this won't have other jokes added in, but other than the visual gags, Airplane! was in many ways a remake where the actors read the same lines and played it straight.

Oh hai Mark
If Bob Odenkirk is in it I'm watching it.
Did you watch Nobody? It looked interesting but not enough to make me want to bother watching

It was awesome, if you haven't you should see it. Perfect dumb action flick.
What's the angle on this, making The Room with better-skilled actors?
It feels like a gimmick but it might be worth watching for the meta acting - acting purposefully poorly can be more challenging than acting well.
I could see there being some crazy layer of meta acting similar to when Larry David played George Costanza on Curb

That's the thing--at least Bob Odenkirk was actually trying to act well.

I see a big difference between a parody of a serious movie and a parody of a movie that is already basically a parody of itself.
I mean...Zero Hour! was not good. That was essentially the point. The script was so bad that just reading it was funny.
