Funny enough from your comment I was expecting something wayyy more extreme with distressed/unfinished edges or deconstructed, both recentish trends.
Caveat: I'm not a genuine fashion guru, I just peruse the occasional fashiony blog to look at pretty things.

My kid recently walked past a Guess jeans window and said a dress looks beyond Distressed, into Traumatized territory. Must be a rich person thing to try to flaunt an intentionally poor look. "My rags were designed to look rattier than your rags" kind of sick twist.
'Beyond distressed, into traumatized territory' got an audible guffaw from me. I refuse to blame it on being Old™, I've never understood the appeal of buying new clothing pre-ripped. I'll wear it...

I had to rewind a bit to make sure it was purposeful as it just looks like the bottom of a button up shirt if you misaligned one of the button holes to make one side longer than the other.
Man. Pretty much everything I see coming out of A24 looks exciting to me, despite the genres being all over the place. This might be the first time I've recognized a studio for consistency. Still...
