Silverstone (this weekend) usually provides a good race.
Spa (30th July) is a great track that sometimes gives a great race. Lots of the drivers like it but it's not the best spectator race.
Monza (3rd Sept.) Should also be pretty good if the other teams catch up to red bull after the summer break.
I'm personally a big fan of singapore (17th sept.) But the track is not that great.
Suzuka (24th Sept.) Is a great track. Last year we only had about 30 racing laps due to poor weather. Also as it's in japan it can be awful to get/stay up for depending on your timezone.
Interlagos (7th nov.) Always gives a banger race.
Other mentions:
US GP at COTA (22nd Oct.) This is usually pretty good as well but a tier below the ones above
US GP at Vegas (19th Nov.) This is the first race on the new layout they've decided for the street circuit. Might be worth a watch for the spectacle.
Abu Dhabi (26th. Nov) Last race of the season. Can have some tense moments depending on standings before the race but it's usually a snoozefest.
Kinda surprised (not really) they brought back the Chinese GP. All in all still a good lineup. I hope the LV GP lives up to the hype, I think it could be a flagship race. Any circuits that were on...

Any circuits that were on the chopping block/got the axe? Compared to this year of course.
It looks like nothing has been dropped. China was the only one that got canceled for 2023 prior to the season (Emilia Romagna was canceled week of due to historic flooding). If China actually goes...
It looks like nothing has been dropped. China was the only one that got canceled for 2023 prior to the season (Emilia Romagna was canceled week of due to historic flooding). If China actually goes ahead next year it will be the first time since 2019. There were quite a few circuits up for contract renewal this year and it looks like all were extended.

While they did try to do so, some of the circuits have existing dates agreed that they weren’t willing to shift, so it’s a work in progress. Regarding cargo, though, don’t forget that teams have...

Regarding cargo, though, don’t forget that teams have multiple sets of equipment, so there may be one set in Europe and a second set in America, for instance - they don’t have to fly one set back and forth. (Personnel, yes, but not normally equipment.)
Yes there is progress, but I feel there should be greater pressure as per marketing F1 circus is trying to carbon neutral 2030. Completely forgot about the multiple set's of equipment, thanks for...

Interestingly enough, the cargo is why the calendar has all of the flying back and forth. They have multiple sets of kit and if it takes more than the 3 days available to ship from what feels like would be the next logical stop, so they fly off to another continent where the other kit has pre-shipped.

What are the must-watch events for the rest of this year? I am an occasional F-1 enjoyer.

Hope this helps!
Very helpful, thanks!
As a casual fan I also really enjoyed the NASCAR street race last weekend. I hope to see more of those in the future as well!
