I got the corona so that sucks. After basically not seeing any people, not really leaving the house for a whole year it kind of just makes me angry, but what can you do... I've just got bit of a headache and that's it and all my loved ones seem to be doing fine too so far, but I still have so much anxiety about this. I already think about death often enough. I hope no one dares to die. And I don't even want to think about the long term health risks associated with this bs.

That you/they know of. It's possible they were asymptomatic, and it's also possible they're lying to help justify their stance.

After sitting on the fence for a long time re: what the right decision for us was, the subjects came off our offer on a house so I guess I'm officially(?) a homeowner. I'm lucky that the area I'm in houses only cost a mere arm and leg rather than all my limbs.

Congrats on the digs! That's amazing, even if it /is/ way less accessible to our generation than those past.

Lol. I was on the phone today with a patron that couldn't believe a 0.7-acre empty lot went for 350K. He made me do math and stuff, twas wild.

Dug myself out of the hole that is my Intro to Finance course. It's online, asynchronous, and I kept neglecting to watch the lectures. I'm now on a good timeline to be ready for the exam in two weeks with one more chapter to clear.

I finally got my Linux system stabilized, Debian Bullseye, XFCE, back to PulseAudio after Descenders, I think, choked on it. I have an AMD RX 5500 XT coming in I unfortunately payed too much for, but I'm also getting tired of fighting NVidia with Linux distros. It'll perform better than my current 1060 GTX, so I'll be happy with that outcome. I was going to try to run them in tandem (nvidia + windows/amd + linux), but I realized there are AMD-specific features I want in Windows, at least as far as software goes, so I'll just be running the one card. I may rethink this in the future, but I've got my system nice and comfortable.
