Can we have a Save feature?
I think people will love to save some comments or discussions instead of bookmarking the page.

Agreed, it's one of my most commonly used Reddit features.
I stopped using Save on reddit because I found myself saving tons of stuff and never returning to it. I'm curious if others do the same.
Yeah, saving is nice and all, but what I'd really enjoy is some organization. As you said, reddit's saves get very cluttered very quickly - even just assigning tags (only visible to you) would go a long way.
I switched over to Pocket a few months ago, and it’s much better. I can save from anywhere (Reddit, Hacker News, Tildes) and it’s much easier to find stuff again later. I’m just concerned that Mozilla still hasn’t open-sourced it like they said they would.
I've done the same. I love the tagging feature. I am also concerned that it's not open source yet, and that they push ads in my collection of content.
Why does it concern you? I mean, I'm aware of some particular fiasco that took place related to Pocket, but I never understood the whole situation properly.
They open sourced a lot of the front-end stuff (all of it?) in February: https://github.com/Pocket
I figure the backend is going to take a while longer due to security concerns. The data they've got would be a treasure trove for advertisers.
Yup, I don't know how many times I've lost track of this in my eight years on Reddit and I just stopped using it.
Saved content hoarders unite!
I was very much like this mostly because I would consider the saved content something like "I LOVE this!", so I would save a variety of cat posts and whatnot. But then I started to save much more interesting stuff, like when people suggest free stuff or resources, and others reply with detailed lists. Saving such posts/comments makes me want to go back and explore them, and eventually have them as a reference, as long as the author decides not to delete them.
I agree with xiretza that a way to organize the saved conent would be great.
I would love if there was a way to save a note/tags along with a saved post/comment.
If that's the case, you would probably save for later. Then a !remindMe bot is what you need and I'm pushing to have one here as soon as possible.
Imho it wouldn't even be that hard to have the feature included in the core of tildes itself (and it would be much more reliable) but, at worst, we can make our own as soon as there are apis available.
If you feel so inclined, you could probably add it to the gitlab issues list. remember -- the site's still in alpha!
Done.
Yeah, I hope if this isn't already in the works, that it's something on the list, I have a huge list of saved things on reddit that I constantly go back to like recipes and such.
I was just about to post about this. I saved stuff all the time on Reddit and there'e been a bunch of stuff on ~ that I've wanted to save for later that I've ended up sending myself links to for later reading.
This would be nice.
Save and hide, I use hide all the time too
