Given that the post was removed, we don't know what you're referring to. However, looking through your recent posting history, I'll deduce it was this post: "What does Serena think?" And, if I recall the post's content correctly, it was something about wanting to know Serena Williams' opinion about Reddit...
Deimos is away at the moment (he said in a recent post that he expected to be absent for a week at the end of the month - which is now). However, he's the only person who can remove posts. I therefore assume he pops in briefly to take care of urgent matters, even while he's otherwise occupied. More importantly, as Deimos is the only one who can remove posts, he's also the only one who can tell you why he removed a post. We can guess, but it would be only guessing. But he's away this week.
If I had to guess, I'd guess your post was removed for some reason similar to the one raised in this comment: that Tildes isn't Reddit, and the fact that you couldn't find the right subreddit in which to post your question (it's coming back to me!) does not mean Tildes is your place to dump questions about another website - and especially not questions that seem aimed at gossiping and sniping about that other website. It's hard enough to build a new website without having people use that new website as the "this'll do" version of another website.
Or, in short: if you have a question about what the wife of Reddit's CEO thinks about Reddit... go ask it on Reddit.
By the way, seeing as this post of yours is about moderation practices on Tildes, I'm moving it to ~tildes.
So, just to be clear. Had I removed any mentions of reddit it would stay? Here is the content of my post. "I'm interested to know if anyone has some record of what Serena Williams thinks of her...

"I'm interested to know if anyone has some record of what Serena Williams thinks of her husband's business practices. I know it's a slight taboo to touch on reddit, but I honestly don't think I've ever seen this point addressed.
Serena Williams is known as a role model, and I imagine she would have issues with racism and misogyny being supported by her husband's business endeavors. Has she responded to this on Twitter? (I don't use it so I'm unsure from just my searches.)
I tried to post this to a few relevant sub's but it was deleted, and perhaps rightly so. I'm not quite sure where the question fits into most place's rules.
Anyone have any information on things she's said regarding this?"
I fail to see how this doesn't fit into the ~talk rules of
"Open-ended discussions with fellow Tildes users, casual or serious"
So this was just a gut move to remove something, even though it doesn't really apply?
You're asking the wrong person. I'm just guessing. Or, in other words: that's why I would have removed your post. However, I did not remove your post, and nor did anyone else who's likely to see...
You're asking the wrong person. I'm just guessing. Or, in other words: that's why I would have removed your post.
However, I did not remove your post, and nor did anyone else who's likely to see this complaint. Deimos removed it, and I do not pretend to know the mind of Deimos. As @Bauke said, the best way to find out why Deimos removed your post is to ask Deimos, rather than making a public post to complain about censorship.
Fair enough. I'll ask. Thanks. Making a public post complaining about censorship is a fine way of making sure censorship doesn't exist. I feel like I'm being civil about it, no?

Ah, but censorship does exist here! We acknowledge and embrace it. I see you don't post here very often (that post about Serena was your first post in four months). You might want to catch up on...

I see you don't post here very often (that post about Serena was your first post in four months). You might want to catch up on the culture of Tildes by browsing the discussions here in ~tildes: we're mostly a pro-moderationcensorship bunch here. We like moderationcensorship and lots of it. If you're looking for a free-speech anti-censorship site... this ain't it. Sorry. :(
AskHistorians uses strong moderation. You abide by their rules specifically or they remove your content. Censorship is : "the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc....

So you're admitting this website is pro-prohibition of ideas it doesn't agree with? That's absolutely not something I want to be a part of.
Edit: @deimos is this person representative of your website?
You don't need to explain to me how /r/AskHistorians works - I helped write those rules you're referring to. :) You called it "censorship". I'm just mirroring your language so you can relate to...

If you think removing your post was bad, it doesn't really matter whether we call that removal "censorship" or "moderation" or "Romeo". What's in a name? That which you call censorship, by any other word would stink as bad to you.

Lovely. Well said and all. I'm still failing to see you explain why my post was removed. which is all I'm really asking. I very briefly mentioned I couldn't think of an appropriate subreddit to post it to. My post was a simple question that isn't really covered by your explanation of:
"If I had to guess, I'd guess your post was removed for some reason similar to the one raised in this comment: that Tildes isn't Reddit, and the fact that you couldn't find the right subreddit in which to post your question "
May I ask you what rule it was violating so I know in the future how to better phrase my posts to avoid them getting removed?
I'm still failing to see you understand that I can't tell you why your post was removed - despite my repeated use of the word "guess" in reference to what I've written. I think I'm giving you the...

I think I'm giving you the wrong impression about my level of inside knowledge. Let me be absolutely clear about this: I do not know why Deimos removed your post. Only Deimos knows why Deimos removed your post.
I will add that this site doesn't really have much in the way of written rules yet. A lot of the moderation here comes down to Deimos' personal judgement. So... you'll just have to ask Deimos. Here's the link for you to use. But, like I said, he's mostly away this week. You'll have to be patient.
I'm not sure why you interjected yourself into the conversation at all then. I sent @deimos a message, I'm hoping he can actually help answer my questions. You purported yourself as a veteran of...

You purported yourself as a veteran of the community, so I assumed maybe you could help me answer my question. There's no reason for you to be antagonistic, there's no need for you to be patronizing. You just chose to do that.
Again, I'm interested to see if you're supposed to be representative of the community @deimos was trying to build when he made tildes.
As @deimos has now also removed this thread of yours, I think it's safe to say that he rather agrees with @Algernon_Asimov than you. Not necessarily in the reason of removal but in the act itself....

Also, I disagree that @Algernon_Asimov is acting purposefully antagonistic, you just interpret it that way. You continue to question their answers as if to catch them in some sort of logical trap which would somehow delegitimize the removal of your post, even though @Algernon_Asimov has no say in that whatsover. You ask why your post was removed, @Algernon_Asimov explained that the only one who can tell you isn't available currently and offers a best guess, which is only natural and honestly probably pretty close to the real reason, so they indeed did their best to "help me answer my question".

Bye now!
I'm not sure why you interjected yourself into the conversation at all then. I sent @deimos a message, I'm hoping he can actually help answer my questions.

Thanks for moving it to the right area. That was the part I was most unsure of.
