He'll definitely get another gig lined up pretty soon. But in terms of primetime reach I don't think he can do better than the gig he had, so this is a blow regardless. My money is on him starting a podcast or something like that. He'll still have a large following, but as long as its something where people have to seek him out as opposed to being broadcast on a major news network then I count it as a win. Look at someone like Bill O'Reilly, who was a hugely popular firebrand who was forced out and pretty quickly lost relevance. Granted that was over sexual harassment allegations, but I think the point might still stand.
I agree with you. I think people underestimate the extent to which Fox News is sort of "ambient" TV. People don't actually pay close attention to it, they just have it drone on in the background...
I agree with you. I think people underestimate the extent to which Fox News is sort of "ambient" TV. People don't actually pay close attention to it, they just have it drone on in the background and it piques their attention now and then with outrage bait. They're not consciously tuning in for Tucker, he's part of the Fox infostream which is what they care about. It's in the same way nobody gets on Twitter for any specific person they follow, it's the net effect of all their follows.
That also means, like you said with Bill-O, they'll just find another assclown to replace him without much issue. They'll just know not to go after Republican-leaning big businesses like Dominion in the future.

Republican-leaning big businesses like Dominion
Dominion is a Canadian company headquartered here in Toronto, and is named after the historic Canadian Dominion Elections Act that gave women the right to run for Parliament. They made most of the optical scanning paper vote tabulator systems used in elections up here in Canada, for decades now in some Provinces. And it's also not a particularly partisan company, from what I know of it. So I'm not sure what you meant by that. Big business? Yes. Republican-leaning? I don't think so (unless you know something I don't).
Indeed, outside of very liberal areas—SF, Boston, NYC, Chicago, etc.—you'll often see Fox News on in the background of restaurants, laundromats, and other everyday places, ambiently peddling...

I think it's most likely that nothing changes but the name and face spewing the hate.
Maybe, maybe not. This dominion settlement has set a new precedent for people touting fake news. I don’t think networks want this kind of heat going forward.

Good news. But I'm sure he will land on his feet and continue raking in money by just spreading outright lies.

You may be confusing dominion with diebold. I did until reading @cfabbro’s comment.
You're right. Voting machines and starts with a "D." Hahaha

I think ONN or one of the more fringe networks will snap him up, just like so many other Fox News hosts who have left.
I think he'd fit right in at the Onion News Network.
Lmao nice
My bet is he ends up at the Daily Wire.
