Who has watched Jury Duty?
Anyone watched Jury Duty? We just binged all eight episodes on a short vacation. We thought it was hilarious. No spoilers but I thought it was a great, quick watch.

We watched it in one sitting. It was great. The guy has signed on an acting representation firm, so maybe he'll get some other opportunities in the future. He seems like a genuinely cool dude.
Thought it was fantastic. The actors really had fun with it. Crazy how much work they put in and it was a really great concept.
It was SO good. I loved Ronald and I think he turned it into honestly kind of a heartwarming show, in addition to being funny and ridiculous. It's clear he was such a kind-hearted guy and everyone respected his opinions.
Looks like I'll be watching this now with all the good reviews from you all
We really enjoyed it. Although, I thought the final episode wasn't required. The last episode was probably the worst of the series. They could have covered all of that in a 5 minute extra or a bit at the end of the prior episode.
I enjoyed the last episode a lot. I actually wanted more behind the scenes action.
Yes! I am surprised people would say this, I thought it was incredibly fun to see behind the curtain. The story had wrapped up, so why not?
It reminded me of watching Bake Off and seeing the montage at the end of all the contestants hanging out IRL. I liked the last episode of Jury Duty for that human element as well as behind the scenes even if it wasn’t necessary for the plot.
If you haven’t yet, watch the commentary episodes. They talk quite a bit about behind the scenes stuff and things that didn’t make the final edits of the episodes.
Interesting. I finished the last episode feeling like I could've watched at least 2 more episodes centered around the logistics of what the crew were able to accomplish. I also thought the behind the scenes episode provided a great sense of closure after the "story" essentially ended abruptly with no conclusion, obviously, since it was all an elaborate hoax.
I think they really missed on a golden opportunity here. Pauly Shore should have had a role or at least a cameo appearance.
Legit thought this whole thread was about the Pauley Shore movie and was surprised by all the positive comments. I was like just wait till y’all see a little movie called Son In Law
Boy am I ever old. I got excited to talk about this 30 years later.

Lol same, I was like why is everyone so excited about this movie, like sure it’s better than Biodome, but it doesn’t even come close to Son In Law or Encino Man. I think it’s probably tied with, or just below, In The Army Now
Literally just heard of this last night and I really want to watch it. There was a fake reality show a while back with a similar premise. (Jeeze 20 years ago?! How time flies.) The Joe Schmo Show. Looked like a big brother type show, but it was all scripted except for one unaware person. I only caught a few episodes but it was hilarious.
Thanks for mentioning this - one thing about Jury Duty is that it leaves you wanting more of the same, which is tough because it's such a unique concept that is hard to pull off. I will definitely check out that show, it sounds right up my alley.
I don't know where you would watch it today, but it was great. They had this bit where any time they were getting a new challenge or something a hawk would fly in with a message. There was no hawk and they told them them were going to use CGI to insert a hawk later. They didn't. So Joe spent the entire series pretending to be impressed by a bird that wasn't there.
My wife and I enjoyed it. Reminded me of The Rehearsal and other Nathan Fielder work. Officer Nikki and Todd got the most laughs from me.
Really hard not to go into spoiler territory here, so I'm really trying to stay vague. I thought it was an extremely fun and well executed watch. They couldn't have asked for a better mark than Ronald, and, despite all the absurdity, he was remarkably patient, and kept them on their toes.
I thought it was phenomenal, very enjoyable to watch.
My partner and I started watching this recently, after finishing the show "Somebody Somewhere" (which I also highly recommend, though it's pretty different to "Jury Duty"). We watched episode 3 last night, and so far it's an extremely well done reality-esque comedy and I really like the "Truman" character they cast (Ronald Gladden). Looking forward to finishing it and I recommend it to others for sure.
It was great! I just finished watching the commentary episodes. It was fun to get some behind the scenes stories from everyone one the show.
Watched it all and loved it. Echoing what others have said here, definitely reminds me of The Rehearsal. For those that liked this, I recommend seeking out the recent Peacock original show Paul T. Goldman. It has a very similar vibe and I also enjoyed it greatly.
