Did a double-take at that headline. There are so many major streaming services struggling already, a fast food company trying to get into the business just seems really odd. Then I saw "family friendly" in the article and remembered that Chic-Fil-A is a heavily Christian organization. So, I'm betting this streaming service is likely going to be aimed towards conservative Christians.

That was my assumption as well. The only thing I want to watch less than reality TV, is reality TV made by a company renowned for being so heavily Christian.

It's still odd for them to make their own streaming service. I wonder if this is really just a scheme to make them less profitable when it's time to pay their taxes.

My guess is they're just using Chic-Fil-A for branding since it's already established as a Christian organization, so it'll be easier to advertise and spread awareness that it... well, exists....

My guess is they're just using Chic-Fil-A for branding since it's already established as a Christian organization, so it'll be easier to advertise and spread awareness that it... well, exists. Pretty sure other attempts have been made that flopped, and part of it was just a lack of subscribers. They can just stick signs for it in their stores, maybe even have some special free trial code given away with meals somehow so people can try it and hopefully get hooked. The family that owns Chic-Fil-A likely have a lot more money than other people who've attempted this, so they're already off to a better start than Butch Hartman and OAXIS.

That said, I agree it's VERY weird.
