I wasn't in that thread but I also quit reddit last week, and made it public to hold myself to it. A couple days later, I also deleted all social media and news apps from my phone. I'm not forbidding myself from using social media, but I need to reset, and I also didn't want to use my free reddit energy to dive even deeper into doomscrolling on twitter.

I'm not gonna lie, it's been tough. The first week or so I was constantly picking up my phone and catching myself trying to open reddit or twitter without even thinking of it. I mean, I'm still doing it, but a bit less. I don't know how I would describe it, but I do feel a bit more... Relaxed? I haven't completely shut myself off from the world since I still watch streams and YouTube and still use a few news aggregation sites to keep up with I need to know, but I've made a conscious effort to notice when I find myself mindlessly scrolling through something and cut it off.

no real implications for the rest of the MCU

Except that post credits scene showing that Scarlet Witch is studying the Darkhold, which has huge implications for the future. The most powerful magic user on the planet who is prophesized to end the world is studying the book of sins. Before WandaVision started, one of the bigger rumors was that Wanda was going to be one of the main villains (or, if not an actual villain, then a huge source of danger) of the next phase. It got overshadowed by all the mephisto/x-men theories, but it seems to be the only one that (might) have actually come true.

Check out the Koss Portapro. It may look old and cheap, but that's because they've been making them for 35 years, completely unchanged. There's a reason for that. Great sound that pleases even audiophiles and pretty tough (and with a lifetime warranty in case they're not tough enough). In fact, in your case, looking old and cheap is probably a bonus based on your first bullet.

I'm still playing WoW Classic. It's every bit as fun as my wildest nostalgic dreams. It's incredible. Like, we've all had that experience of booting up and old game you used to love and instantly feeling "Wait, I used to love this? It's unplayable". When was the last time you played Goldeneye 64?

But WoW holds up. Everything we had feared all these years about all of the QoL changes taking the "soul" out of the game were true. WoW Classic is just as addictive as it used to be. There's an actual community. You have to actually read the quests to figure out wtf you're doing. You have to be careful in the open world, or you can very easily die. You have to actually talk to people.

15 years later and I'm hooked on the same game. And I love it.

Because if there wasn't, you wouldn't be able to ask the question. All of this is so that you could hit submit.
