While it's definitely not the game you were thinking of, Code Bullet recently had a video about creating the same thing but also for VR and it was also terrifying.

I'm mostly used to installing stuff through SublimeText's package manager but I do know where files usually go for manual installation.

I am looking forward to using it in the next two tiers of raid content. We're coming for you, Arthas!

While it may not yet have had a "significant revenue impact" I would wager that's because the people who are observing the blackout are on average not the ones using the official app or the new interface where they presumably get most of their ad impressions. The power users who are 3rd party app users and old.reddit plus adblocker viewers are the ones who are not present.

The real significant revenue impact will only be felt once it's clear if the content is not being created on reddit any longer. And that won't be truly felt until the 3rd party apps go dark. I know that I personally will never use their official app after having used RIF for a decade, but I'm not a huge creator of content so who knows how much my opinion is worth.

I feel the same about stopping myself from giving shorter responses, as that seems to be my usual style of contribution to online discussions. Not that they're necessarily low-effort short responses, just that I am not one to be extremely verbose on a regular basis. My motto for professional emails and the like that I always offer as advice to friends is "CCC: Consider Communicating Concisely".

You're very right, there's a lot of activities to do. I had fun checking out a helltide and I was able to kill the mobs even though they were 7 levels higher than me (L55). The sidequests are fine and some are even interesting. There's a lot to do but ultimately the thing I'm interested in is fleshing out my (well, Kripparian's) build as it's capable but not complete yet. That requires a lot more levels and gear as far as I can tell.

That's unfortunate about your technical difficulties! I think the movie did an amazing job of adapting the source material while also remembering the rule of cool. As a DM there were a bunch of parts that made me think of how things go for the person running the game as well as those playing it.

I'm the DM in my friend group (even if we are playing a board game) and we've been doing D&D 5E for the last 6 years now. We just finished our 3rd campaign so I suggested a change of pace, so we are doing a sci-fi themed game running with Traveller (Mongoose 2E ruleset). We just started last week though so I'm very new to running it--session zero was literally just rolling characters, which is a lot of fun.

I love using DSLRs though I don't have one right now. I use my Pixel 6's camera and it's good enough for almost anything I do on a normal basis. I still have my old Canon Rebel film camera though!

Recently I played the new Path of Exile season and had a good time there while waiting for Diablo 4. Speaking of which I'll be starting that soon but I couldn't bring myself to pay for 4 days of early access.
