That was more interesting than I thought it would be. But he missed a key step when doing a direct heat cook (like grilling or pan frying). You have to pound the breast even. If you don't the thin parts will be over cooked or the thick parts will be under cooked. Also, if you got an extra 30 minutes, brining helps a lot.

He is demonstrably still totally fine with flexing his privilege to get what he wants and the people around him are still totally fine with letting him.

I feel like you're reaching with this one. That's how these clubs work; the the owner even confirmed it. If it was Seinfeld or Silverman that showed up and bumped a lesser comedian off, would you call it "flexing their privilege"?

Actually, you might call it exactly that. But they would be flexing the privilege earned by getting famous at standup comedy (notice I said EARNED). Not some white/male/whatever privilege that you're insinuating here.

Its okay to be angry at him. But be angry at him for the right things.

I'm just a hobbyist. So take my advice with a large grain of salt.

When doing solo gamedev; full game suites like GoDot and Unity don't click with everyone. Some people prefer to get down and dirty with the code in a simple editor like VS, VSCode, or Sublime. Maybe that's why you jumped to C++?

There's an ocean between C++ and GoDot. Maybe find a framework that does the heavy lifting for you without the overheard of a GUI. I love (no pun intended) LÖVE (http://love2d.org), a Lua based framework.
