I'm answering because I once again had no wifi at work for the first hour and missed a bunch of messages. This new building is less than 2 years old, and it was built about a mile away from the edge of the suburbs. There's zero cell service, but some cell providers have set up wifi (which goes out for me a couple times a month), and there's a "guest" wifi that you have to remember to sign into every couple of days. So in an emergency, don't count on using the wifi calling to call 911. Oh, and our regular phones are all internet based as well and ridiculously unreliable.

So there's "official" wifi/internet as well, for work purposes with a login, but not for phone use. This has also gone out a few times. When it goes out (and it does maybe once a year, unbearably slow 2-3 times a year) - we have reports we can't issue, and a few other things that can't be done, but most of our work we have paper sheets or offline copies of spreadsheets we can use. We have an "emergency binder" that contains these copies on USB drive and paper copies.

It does look nice, but I already have a multicountry charger. She says right in the article that she already had a multicountry one, not what was in the pic (4 different plugs). Then she calls it "frustratingly bulky". I'd estimate mine is 2x the size of the nice compact Anker one. Anker's website lists it as "43% smaller."

She just seems to be placing her total emphasis on packing small, without considering the things that might make you happy to have when you are - you know- on vacation.

My unusual must-packs - on a hot destination, I like to have a makeup wipe or two in my backpack to wipe off salty sweat and just feel cooler and cleaner. I bring a tiny bluetooth controller for playing games on my phone. I always bring a Ziploc bag with a few smaller Ziploc bags in it.

I never played Chrono Trigger back in the SNES days because somehow I just missed it. I did rent some RPGs from Blockbuster, but my love for RPGs hadn't really unlocked yet. Much later, when I found I could emulate SNES games on my PC, this was the first one I tried, since by then I'd heard about its stellar reputation. Often something very hyped can disappoint, but I can't say enough about how much I loved this game. The music, the story, the characters - I was in love!

I'm going to be playing the SNES version emulated on Android, as I want to experience the same game I did before. That's also how I usually play SNES games, and I know this one is long so I want to be able to play on lunch breaks or wherever I find time.

I was so hyped about this one that I got it set up days ago and last night was telling myself "It's October 1st somewhere, right?". Going to start on my lunch break! Really jealous of those who have never played before, but also curious how it will hold up to those who don't have the passionate nostalgia about it.

This is such a great answer, and I felt the same way about it. I adored BG1 and BG2 and played each through a few times. I had wanted more fantasy games and my husband talked me into trying Divinity and then Divinity 2 - and I really enjoyed the world and the story. This gave me really unrealistically high hopes for BG3, but I think that playing both games put me into the perfect position to appreciate BG3.

I have not yet finished the game, but I completed the play on a train achievement by playing a bit on the White Pass and Yukon train. It made me appreciate even more the sounds present in the game. I've enjoyed the immersion and puzzling out what to do. I was glad to be warned about the many failures, so I've tried to take them in stride. I have had UI difficulties, and found things like the fight and capturing the beetle to be super frustrating. I've played it on Android and steam, and each has different limitations. I'm almost through with it, and an going to complete a second playthrough with a guide before the month is out. Despite some frustrations, I've enjoyed it a lot.
