Private Christian education preschool-12th, private Christian university 4 years. I'll focus more on my pre-12 experience.

I don't think I ever had a class with more than 15 people in it. I graduated in a class of 11 people. I loved how you would get to intimately know everyone in the school. It was like a family. If someone had a family die, for example, we felt it as one.

There was the "Christian bubble" thing going on, but not to a huge degree. We were influenced by so many other sources than just school that we still became cultured. Even in the early internet days, this was inevitable. This really came down to the individual, and how each student's parents had them live outside of school. People came and went. Typically the "lifers" stayed out of trouble and went on to higher education.

We had a dress code that gradually got more lax over time. Some people made a big fuss over it, but I felt pretty indifferent about the whole thing.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I'm really glad/thankful my parents put my through it. I actually keep up with more people from high school than I do university.

As for what I'd change, I'm at a bit of a loss. I suppose it would be nice if by some paradox our teachers were paid more without tuition rising.

I'm definitely open to answering questions about my education, as I understand it was a relatively uncommon approach.

All of the cars you've mentioned are awesome! I have trouble comparing them, to be honest. They're all totally unique creatures.

I love my 86 - I want to keep it forever. I got a 6MT '15 FR-S, and I love the more raw nature of it. I just want a simple car that I feel comfortable working on that's fun to drive, not something with an auto-leveling LED illuminated massaging dual-climate horn.

There's a decent 86 community - the FT86Club forums leave a little to be desired, but /r/ft86 and the Discord server are pretty great.

So far, they've proven to be pretty reliable too.

I could go on forever. If you're interested, here's my little build thread that needs an update: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109027

This is about where I land, too.

I believe that some crimes are absolutely worth the death penalty. I believe that if we had captured Seung-Hui Cho (Virginia Tech massacre), his crimes earned him the death penalty. I believe that Robert Bowers (Pittsburgh synagogue shooting) earned the death penalty. I believe that if Stephen Paddock (Las Vegas shooting) was found alive, he'd have earned it too.

While these cases are (to me) obvious examples, it quickly becomes a race on where to draw the line - on both how bad a crime must be to earn capital punishment, and how certain we are in the accuracy of the arrest. I don't trust government to be able to make these value/accuracy judgments. With that in mind, I typically land on not supporting capital punishment, even if I believe some certainly deserve it.

Infamous KKK grand wizard David Duke endorsed her run for President.

The credibility of your entire assessment goes out the window because you've thrown something in the middle that quite literally means nothing. The world has plenty of terrible people endorsing pretty much any candidate.

I used to use Linux full time until 2012 or so, and became particularly attached to using lightweight window managers like Openbox. Is Ubuntu pretty married to GNOME? I would assume it would be a better idea to start with Xubuntu. Arch Linux was fun back in the day but I don't think I have that kind of commitment to maintaining my OS anymore.

If I do return to Linux it would be wise for me to test out a few distributions to see what the new possibilities are.
