Twice I've gotten into the hobby grade RC's, its something about the allure of it and then when I have one I have no interest in it. I've had a Slash previously which is fun to rip around, but didn't have anybody to race them with. With a dog or kids I'm sure it would be a blast.

I then went to build a RC crawler, and bought all the parts and pieces to build a K10. But just lost interest after having all the components.

I struggle to get into MLS. The pace and flow is much different to the Premier League which I'm used to following, not to mention I like the format of the European leagues where everybody plays each other twice, no playoffs, that's what the Cups are for.

Recently I've just got burnt out of soccer altogether. Premier League has really hit mainstream, and my interest in it has dwindled each year for the past 5 or so. I really liked it around the late 2000s, early 2010s, it had this special vibe and niche interest. I think maybe I've been following the league too close for too long and need to take a step back. I haven't watched a game yet this year, I've been trying to forget about it entirely maybe that spark will comeback.

Part of the appeal of YouTube is the wide variety of content from a wide variety of sources. You never know when you'll stumble upon new covers of songs you'll like, or an up-and-coming video essay channel that's heavily researched and informative. Or just looking up people playing a game, or quick tutorials on things like using Blender or pixel art that aren't part of some comprehensive structured course.

YouTube has changed a lot, I don't get that stuff anymore. I rarely see channels in my feed that garner any interest from me outside of my channels I've subbed to. And the videos recommended on my home page the same crap over and over to the point I have to tell it I'm not interested for it to disappear. It regularly suggests stuff I recently watched last week, and stuff I watched months or years ago from channels I'm already subscribed to dispite these channels having hundreds of videos I haven't seen. Once in a while I click on a video that may seem interesting outside my normal feed, and my who entire feed changes to that one video type to where I have to remove it from my watch history.

Channels that are promoted are 100k+ subscriber channels, I like the small hobby channels, 1-20k subscriber channels but those don't fit their bill. It's like 1-2 times a year do I actually come across a channel worth subscribing to, and I'm there daily as I don't watch TV, and regularly look for something to play in the background.

From bottom up, bun-lettuce-turkey-tomatoe-provolone-bun. Keep it out of the sun works most of the time, otherwise a cooler or in combo with an ice pack to keep it fresh.

And the services integration they have means the manufacturer/dealers knows the issues with the car without even seeing it. I received an email from my dealer saying service is needed on my truck and I have to schedule an appointment, never said what for. I recieved an email from Onstar days later, that I don't subscribe to, saying my oil life is at 17% and my tires need air...the truck hasn't even flagged the air pressure issue but they send me an email saying the truck need air added.

Before this newer truck, I had a 2015 the dealer told me needed brakes. I asked how much for brake? $1200. I said no thanks, Ill do it myself. I went home, ordered pads ($40) and rotors ($200) from Rock Auto and waited until the pads actually failed. I went 8 months before needing to actually replace the pads, driving 35 miles per day. I didnt feel like I needed to replace the rotors, until 2 years after doing just pads when the rotors finally warped.
