I've been stuck here in Brussels since last March and the only people I see are my girlfriend and my parents every now and then. Despite that, I've managed to contract covid twice, once in April and now, two weeks ago, the British variant. And I've working from home from the beginning.
Like you, I also struggle with the rules, it gets very confusing, even for my girlfriend whose job is to analyze the "arrêtés ministériels" and publish articles about them. While I follow them nearly 100%, I have trouble trying to explain the same to my parents, my dad is kind of receptive but my mother fell into the conspiracy theories rabbit hole and best she can do is to put the mask under the nose. As a result, they don't want to get vaccinated.
Let's hope the vaccination campaign picks up some steam and that summer is going to be mostly restriction-free.

Comment on Belgium enters full lockdown, starting Wednesday in ~health
Przmk So far so good. It really feels light so I wonder if those measures will be enough. What's also frustrating is that the sun is finally showing up here in Brussels after months of daily rain. And...So far so good. It really feels light so I wonder if those measures will be enough.
What's also frustrating is that the sun is finally showing up here in Brussels after months of daily rain. And now we can't really go out.

Przmk While your points are true, I'd like to point out that there is a $300k bounty if you manage to crack their crypto. It's been there for quite some time and nobody's claimed it yet. As for Signal, my biggest grip with it is the extremely poor desktop app it has. Compare that to Telegram with its native Qt desktop app that is fast as it can be and has the same features as the mobile one.

Comment on What programming language do you use for work and what's your favorite language? in ~comp
Przmk I'm in the same boat. I would love to not code at work so I can go back home and still have the energy to do some development as a hobby and not be bothered by all this bureaucracy.I'm in the same boat. Comment on Valve seems to be working on tools to get Windows games running on Linux in ~games
Przmk It was visual studio code, which is completely different from visual studio. Vs code is made with electron so it's actually fairly cross platform. It was visual studio code, which is completely different from visual studio. Vs code is made with electron so it's actually fairly cross platform.

Przmk Also, what would happen to mods ? I know that they're pretty much non-existent for new EA titles anyway, but there's still a huge creative community that enjoys modding games. Also, what would happen to mods ? It depends. One of the amusing aspect of Valheim is discovering new items, ores, biomes, etc.. as you go. If you join a server that already has all of this, it might get overwhelming and you may get spoiled if that's a concern for you. I've been playing with 3 other friends of mine and one stopped playing because we were playing way more than him and he became bored because he missed all the action.
But then, some players are in just for the building and don't mind so it all depends on you. While I haven't visited the Tildes server, I'm sure there's plenty of helpful people to guide you around.
