I'm all for ditching gore or watchpeopledie, but nudity is a part of life that I think everyone enjoys (except for uptight religious people (and crius) and let's be honest, they all like their porn as well).

Shimmyshine On the right by the votes? Those are the only groups available (no custom groups yet). Otherwise, I think tags can only be added to new topics? I'm not entirely sure, I'm new here too.On the right by the votes? Those are the only groups available (no custom groups yet). Otherwise, I think tags can only be added to new topics? Could it not be up to the group moderators to have 3 options "Allow All X-Posting", "X-Posting Requires Approval" or "No X-Posting"? This provides the feature to the users and group moderators a way of well, moderating it. So if someone who doesn't know the difference between BDSM and BBQ doesn't post a delicious recipe that involves no leather or bruises in the BDSM group.

I mean your point is 100% valid and a legitimate concern, but that defeats the purpose of the centralized conversation (rather than having 2 branches of the topic to keep up with as the OP) if that makes any sense?
Voting should certainly be separate otherwise if you x-post to a large and small community, the large community would inflate it in the small community, that's a certainty.

Shimmyshine I absolutely agree, thus the 3rd cousin relationship thrown in. Regardless, it was a thought that popped in my head - which I'm sure there's far better examples than what I provided.I absolutely agree, thus the 3rd cousin relationship thrown in. Works like a charm, only ever had 1 headache and that's when I accidentally forgot to redirect my network traffic through it. It sure beats making sure that adblock is installed and utilized on the wife and kids computers/devices.

It would provide the ability to record 2 shows at once instead of just 1 for viewing later. I will look into this further, thanks!

One of the very frustrating things for me on reddit is the way crossposting works, essentially making it a karma whoring feature more than anything else.
Can crossposting be simplified? For example: I just posted a topic in ~tv, however I realize it applies more to ~comp (sorry, I was premature on posting it somewhere - maybe it can be moved?) but could fit in ~tv as it's related, even if being a 3rd cousin from the groups intent. It would be nice to be able to pick the groups I'd like to publish it to, so the discussion is centralized and consistent - if that makes sense?

I've got a server running out of my house that I use to create virtual machines for many different facets of what I enjoy (IE: A Plex Server, Discord Bot, PiHole, etc...). The server runs Ubuntu and is utilizing QEMU I believe for the the virtualization.
I've got issues getting the adapter (currently using one of those Xbox adapters to plug into an antenna and back into the computer) to relay into the virtual machine. On top of that, I'd LOVE to ditch hulu and these others (sling, PS Vue, etc..) and utilize local live television with a larger antenna on my roof, but I'll worry about that once I've got these technical aspects worked out.
I guess I'm looking for some advice as well as anyone with a similar setup and how you are running yours?
