I’ve...I’m a woodworker. I typically do custom work but I enjoy the freedom of my own projects as well. I’ve been working on a set of large desks, the tops are made from old factory box rollers. I’ve been kicking around ideas for the legs. Since this is much more modern/industrial in style I was thinking of making the legs out plywood. I’m thinking of glueing up a bunch of different sheets and forming the legs from a much thicker (maybe 3”) set of combined layers. I enjoy the idea of the legs being made from the most industrial form of wood out there. It just seems fitting.

I’m sorry if this isn’t the correct avenue or if I have missed a previous post about this but I was wondering how new topics could be requested. I think a DIY topic would be great, as a woodworker I think something more specific to woodworking would be great but with the current size of the user base a more broad topic might be better suited.

Tech LinkI’ve been trying to get Ombi to run on a macOS Docker container but every time the server reboots docker seems to wipe every setting and it goes back to a fresh install. Tech LinkSt. Louis here. While I’m not in a non English speaking country I’d like to mention a few bands here that I think could use a bigger audience. My wife and I are fans of a bunch of local acts. Our...St. Louis here. While I’m not in a non English speaking country I’d like to mention a few bands here that I think could use a bigger audience. My wife and I are fans of a bunch of local acts. Our favorite is Middle Class Fashion. They are an indie pop group with a lot of 80s vibes. We also like a group called Dubb Nubb. They are two two sisters that have a great indie riff going back and forth playing off of each other. Last but not least is Bruiser Queen, they are a rock duo that have some rockabilly/punk sounds going on.
