Like I mentioned in my title post, I was planning on getting Vader Pro 5 if reviews pan out well, which is a pretty established brand and the Vader 4 Pro was received to critical acclaim from what I can tell.

That said, if you're getting a 3rd party controller, you're taking a chance on actually getting what you order with these features. Not sure what you mean by this - are you saying that 3rd parties lie about features of their controllers? I typically wait for reviews before buying any product.

I had heard the name CachyOS but did not know it was an Arch derivative with an installer. What do you like about it? I'm curious. I am probably one of the least qualified people to answer this question from a technical perspective, I just like to tinker with different things. Mainly, wanted to migrate away from Windows, googled what are some performant Linux distributions, saw that CachyOS was gaining traction on YouTube/Reddit, and gave it a ago. Works great (other than the controller scenario), feels snappy (especially boot times) and I guess it feels good to have a bit of digital privacy.

I've always read that controllers have been a strong point of Linux in terms of compatibility (including wireless, unless I was reading incorrectly), sucks that that may not be the case anymore. It is ironic to me that the Xbox controllers has been the most seamless to use so far.

I have an 8bitdo Ultimate, but it's not working for me on CachyOS. Anyone else have experience with good quality controllers on Linux? The Flydigi Vader Pro 5 caught my attention, and I am a pretty competitive person for certain games (mainly Halo 3 and Halo Infinite), and like tight controls for platformers and souls-like games as well. Edit: I primarily used my controllers wireless, especially on the living room PC. I am more okay with wired on my personal computer.

I have two: - SUVs buyers ruined the car industry for people in their 30s, nor do you need an SUV to raise a 3 person family. I always thought I would be able to get a cool car once I have a career and my finances have stabilized.
Acura no longer sells anything other than the Integra. Lexus discontinued the GS, IS (partially), the ES looks horrid, the LS (their debut model) is turning into a van/SUV apparently, and the LC is probably going soon. The only other brand that sells a wide diversity of cars is BMW, but they've been hit and miss on their designs (although the M240i looks great, and hopefully they don't discontinue it in the next 3-4 years). The only reason you should need an SUV is if you have severe back/mobility problems. People raised people in cars for dozens of years, surely it's still possible today. - Sports teams don't care about you. Stop saying 'we' when talking about them or when they win/lose.

Turned out to be one of the best things I've made, and it was my first time making birria. Took me almost 4 hours, and I was so tired by the end of it (it was 12:30 AM) that my spouse helped me with the garnishes, but it was well worth it. This is the Substack recipe I followed. One thing to note is that it mentions to shred some mozzarella at the end of the recipe, but it's not mentioned in the ingredients (at least when I checked)

I thought it was a great movie, and the story reminded me of Ping Pong: The Animation (one of my other favorites). I've also been watching The Apothecary Diaries and I'm enjoying it way more than I expected, and so is my wife. Gorgeous backdrops, a relatively interesting story, and some moments that were more humorous than I anticipated to boot. I think this is going to rank relatively highly on my list.

Pretty much exactly what I was asking for, which is more Hollow Knight. Hornet would make an excellent platformer fighting game character with how fluid her movements are. I also find the story a bit easier to follow, and I'm looking forward to Mossbags lore videos about the various bosses and more minor details of the game which I have not put the time in/not smart enough to figure out. I just finished Act 1, and I am just doing more exploring. Surprisingly, I've basically beaten every boss in 5 tries or less, except for one. To add a bit of variety, I'm also trying to play a couple of different games on the Steam Deck when I can, such as *Citizen Sleeper and Horizon Chase Probably not the best place to ask this, but does anyone here have experience with the MSI Claw 8+? Despite the price, it seems like a fantastic device and was just wondering if anyone would like to give some details on their ownership experience.

I actually chose Alicias ending because the game was glitching out for me and I didn't get to see the two options, so I chose at random. If I didn't, I would have chose Verso's 100%. Explanation HereI didn't watch any YouTube videos or read any essays about the lore of the game, so my understanding is purely from what I was able to observe, so maybe I missed out on key details. But essentially, it sounds like Alicia just wants to stay in this world out of guilt for The Writers killing her brother (by a fire that was intended for her, and Verso saved her from?) so they can experience having a full life together, and her brother 'does not want this life anymore' according to him anyways. In the ending cut scene, it looks like he's just an unwilling participant and Alicia is painting him to perform for her to some degree. On top of that, it is simply a fake world! However, if you want to argue that it is real, she doesn't even have Versos consent, either. I get that people can get really philosophical discussions about this, but that's not a topic which I want to touch really lol. "For those who come after" doesn't really make sense anymore with the events that transpired, all of it was sort of meaningless. With Verso's ending, yes Alicia might have to return to her disabled body, and she's left with both physical and mental anguish, but her family has reconciled to some degree and they have a chance to do something about The Writers together. Feel free to let me know if there's a key detail I missed about Alicia's ending that I'm not getting. Personally, I don't know how @drivick or anyone else would knowingly pick the Alicia ending.

I was just basing what I saw on some Steam Reviews, a lot of people said Act II and Act III are much harder for some reason. I know this game probably got a bunch of new people into Hollow Knight/Silksong given the popularity, but I thought it would still appeal to the 'hardcore' souls-like platform player (tough, but fair). I will definitely use a map if need be, but I'm surprisingly pleased with myself and at the rate I've discovered secret areas. Usually I suck at that, but think I've been doing pretty good so far.
I found a solution in a Reddit post!
