But instead of finding more obscure sources, it uses unrelated high ranking sources to give a confident, but entirely wrong answer.
So it citing real sources is pretty much useless in this case, sometimes they were not even tangently related to the actual topic.

Hi everyone, first of all, thank you for creating and maintaining this site - I don't think I've ever seen a more constructive and friendly general-purpose community online. :)

In the last few weeks, after getting access to tildes, I stumbled multiple times over an interesting article that I thought that would fit on Tildes. But I didn't see a button to post it on here. I assumed it has to be something related to rating or account age. I was wondering how long it would take. Maybe a month?

The volume of posts here is pretty low, so I never saw a reason to visit one of the groups - I only visited the front page. Only now I found out, that the button to post something is only visible if the user is currently on the page of a group.

I don't know if this happened to someone else, but I personally find it really unintuitive that there isn't a button on the front page to post a topic. Reddit, Lemmy, Discourse etc. all have it like that.

Did anyone have a similar experience? Or was this a concious choice?

But it doesn't perform nearly as great as Rosetta 2. I think it's around 80% performance versus around 50% .

Yuzu tends to perform better than Ryujinx while sacrificing accuracy. Especially on handhelds like the Steam Deck Yuzu if often the only option with mostly stable FPS.

Although Titanfall 2 may have sold better if EA didn't release it the same week as Battlefield and CoD. It's almost like they wanted it to fail.

No, but what I imagined was an endless grind for weapons / Titan parts that deal a percentage more damage than the last. More akin to Anthem or Destiny.

I can imagine that the amount of posted jobs may influence the stock price of a publicly traded company at least a little bit. Scraping the job listings is very easy (or they can just be bought at a job listing platform) and the thought that they correlate to stock performance does seem plausible.

I'm pretty confident that EA will dig the IP up again sometime, but probably as a life service looter shooter. Come to think of it, I wonder why they haven't done so yet.

A friend once told me, that there are ways around that, at least for them. Don't know how accurate that is.

    • Send your passport and a renounciation of citizenship to the spanish embassy
    • Spanish embassy confirms the arrival of the renounciation
    • Use confirmation to get German citizenship
    • The Spanish embassy returns your passport to you like "We're sorry, but you are not allowed to renounce citizenship"
    • have two passports

I feel like the thought that some people think in a pipeline from 'a person has an arguably misguided position on race and safe spaces" => "they once worked at a company that did diversity consulting" => "this company provided consulting for $AAAgame" => "we have to boycott this game" is a bit absurd.

To me it seems like the classic GamerGate playbook of some guys being outraged about diversity or women and then actively searching for reasons to be mad that may have better chances of resonating with a more mainstream audience.

I'm not saying that you are doing this and statements like the one you linked are worthy of debate, but I do not believe that a discussion in good faith is the primary motivator for most people being outraged atm.

Edit: After finding a bit more of the context of this video, I don't even think that calling her "arguably misguided" is appropriate. She was talking about the development of an indie PoC queer dating sim, her passion project and not about the industry as a whole.
