They haven't really deviated from an established formula that works for the game imo.
Now to go wash my mouth out.

Not really a fan of the romance side of it. It feels like the sort of thing that you would do completely wrong without knowing how it works ahead of time.
I started FE on the GBA as kid so I can attest it definitely holds up.

Most of fire emblem is still only released in Japanese so emulation is the only way to play them in the west. They really need to remaster these games. Though I feel most of the player base is more interested in modern fire emblem waifu simulator so I understand why Nintendo might not think it's profitable

I understand its not a money maker but damn was that game immersive and fun, a truly unique experience I will never forget.God I wish they would make more games like Half Life Alyx. I feel this way too. Tildes is scratching that itch for me sans the awkward meme culture we all secretly embraced while also looking down on it (looking at you nyan-cat esque humor). For the most part this space feels very reminiscent of late 2000s reddit, or at least how I used reddit back then.
I also think this phenomenon is all too terribly common across all spaces. Change is inevitable and whether its the platform or us that's changed, its hard not to look back and feel nostalgic.

Programming wise you could have these have to be children of the established groups, i.e: ~gaming.zelda, ~tv.theoffice. Has the double effect of name spacing, i.e: ~politics.canada ~finance.canada
Zaniest thing I ever did was prot pally with balance druid healing them. Load the pally up with improved thorns and keep them alive. Use ret aura, shield spike, holy shield, and any other damage return you can find. Places with tons of melee enemies will just melt. Doesn't scale very well into the 50s though.
