joshbuddy TNG was a really solid ending of that show. By that token, DS9 was really well wrapped up too, a very satisfying ending.TNG was a really solid ending of that show. By that token, DS9 was really well wrapped up too, a very satisfying ending.

Great shows with a truly satisfying ending?
Warning: this post may contain spoilers
There was a thread about shows with a great beginning and a comment in the thread made me want to ask, what about the opposite? Shows with a really satisfying ending that feels like they wrapping things up in a satisfying way?

But when I think about shows like Westworld and Game of Thrones, however cool the initial world might seem, the ending is the thing that sticks in my mind, and its just so awful it completely spoils any goodwill I had towards the series to start with.

joshbuddy I always loved the premise of Death Note. I think I can't really get behind an interesting premise unless I think they manage to stick the landing, and Death Note's ending is fairly satisfying.I always loved the premise of Death Note. And ofc, Denmark has racism and the like, but overall, its quite civilized and democratic. Consistently #1 on the rule of law index.

I haven't seen a good roundup for the evidence tbh. Maybe a podcast like The Studies Show could go through it, I'd really appreciate that. Or if someone has written in a little more depth. Ultimately, its hard to wade through the studies on this because so many writers have an axe to grind to fit some particular viewpoint.
Regardless of the economic benefits or drawbacks, you'd think there would be a moral imperative, but I don't see why companies would care about that, not unless they had significant employee representation or some other mechanism to make them care.

A bun with butter and cheese is the breakfast item of choice here, and if you get one from a nice bakery, they really manage to elevate it. I'd recommend Københavns Bageri for that, but you're kind of awash in great bakery choices.

While the game has a few flaws, its short, the writing it genuinely creepy and the ending is up there with Inside as a real head scratcher.I just played through Skald: Against the Black Priory. I recently watch The Sparks Brothers (great film btw) and thinking about the sorts of deep artistic relationships you can have with someone over time. I guess this is a bit of an outpouring from that.
Been playing through Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. Wonderful art, great puzzles, fascinating game. A little frustratingly difficult, but if you enjoyed things like The Witness or Outer Wilds, this is for you
