Some fun ones I know for Windows are:

    • show-command <command> (alias: shcm) will bring up a GUI for any Powershell command you give it

    • Win+I will open the Settings app

    • Win+Shift+T will let you copy text from anything using OCR

    • When in File Explorer, typing cmd, powershell, or wt into the path bar will open CMD/PowerShell/Windows Terminal respectively in the current directory

    • Set-PSReadLineOption -PredictionSource History will try to auto complete your commands with ones that you previously entered (you may need to Install the PSReadLine module)

    • Adding onto that, you can press Ctrl+R to search your command history

    • Pressing Win+X then G will bring you into Computer Management, I will open PowerShell/Windows Terminal, and A will open an admin PowerShell/Terminal

    • For some reason, if you're using a Chromium/Electron based app and it refuses to open, clicking the icon 3 times will make it open. I'm not 100% sure if this is just placebo but it has worked every time on Discord and Chrome (back when I used it)

My favorite would have to be phone repair. It was very nice to tinker around with lots of tech (and even fix it sometimes!) My shop would also do any tech repair so it was fun to work on PCs and be somewhat jealous over someones parts. It's also very relaxing to me to repair devices, fixing phones was always the best because you would noticeably improve someones day when you hand their device back to them. Unfortunately towards the end the company got bought out and then they wanted us to do sales + tech repair. They had a protection plan that covered all tech you owned except phones (which we saw the most of) - seemed kinda silly but they would breathe down our necks until we sold 10+ plans a month. Additionally, I had to run the entire store by myself (I was the sole employee) after we got bought out and they would not promote me, telling me I "lacked initiative" so that really accelerated my departure.

Other than that, shockingly enough doing backroom at Walmart. I loved throwing the truck (except in the heat) and we would listen to music and generally have a bit of a blast. They did try to cut out the music but we prevailed. Not sure if you can do that anymore though.

I made online chess - it's chess but online. I only have the one board though, so you'll all need to share.

This is by far the dumbest thing I've ever made but I had fun making it. Currently the cooldown for moving pieces is 1 second which should (hopefully) become longer as more people make moves. Makes for some interesting gameplay.

Future plans so far may be to restrict players to only be able to move one side's pieces, and maybe a democracy mode. Not sure yet though.

I don't listen to Ken Carson super often to be fair, but one of the lines in i need u always sticks out to me:

    Where yo' racks go?
Oh, you spent it on hoes, money, drugs, and clothes

I'm guessing he means counterfeit money, but the line is just strange this way imo.

There's also my favorite example of this ever (from Lil Yachty's song Peak A Boo):

    My new bitch yellow
She blow that dick like a cello

Which he tried to justify on Genius

OK, let’s stop for a second. Before you come at me, I'ma let you know. I'ma blame my A&R. Because he listened to that song many times and he allowed me to say that.. I guess for a second, I thought a cello was a woodwind instrument and it is not. And nobody ever said shit. Nobody ever pulled up a pic and said, “Hey man. I don’t know if you know what this is, but it ain’t that.” I fucked up. I thought Squidward played the cello. He don’t. That’s a flute. I fucked up. But it do sound good.

    Squidward, famous flute player.

Have you tried additional content mods, such as Ridgeside Village or East Scarp? I've gotten way too used to these mods in addition to Stardew Valley Expanded that I often forget that certain things are from those mods. If you ever start a new save, I'd recommend trying them out!

East Scarp specifically has a couple "addon" characters as well, I really like Eli and Dylan as well as Rodney O'Brien. I don't think there are similar character addons for Ridgeside Village but there's already a ton of new characters in that mod. It does make the introductions quest a bit challenging though! (although you can turn off Ridgeside NPCs for the intro quest in the mod settings)

Technically passkeys are 2FA, as it's something you have and something you know/are - on a PC, you need to enter a password/PIN on Windows, a phone can use your fingerprint if you have that set up.

I'm also a huge fan of Outer Wilds' soundtrack, but there's so much more from that game that you'd have to search a bit for (after you beat it of course!). My favorite Outer Wilds song is by far Older Than the Universe or Reprise

I found this article incredibly interesting! I'm sure we've all experienced object personification, but what do you do when that object can speak back to you? What can you do if the company behind them have to change it, update it? What if they get bought out? We're breaking new (and weird) ground with these AI companions, and I believe things are only going to get stranger from here.

I've been a fan of them since the Zaba days, so it's real cool to see how big they've gotten since. I also saw them live this year!

    1. Goth Babe

Discovered him this year! Very "interesting" music if that makes sense, wide variety of vibes but all generally good.

    1. Tame Impala

Who doesn't like Tame Impala. Bigger fan of his earlier stuff though.

    1. ODESZA

One of my favorite EDM acts, next to...

    1. Flume

Still have yet to see him live, but I'm also a fan since his self-titled days! Fun to see him grow as well.

    Top Songs:

    1. Santa Fe - DEVOTED (top 0.001%!)

What a good song! Makes me feel like I'm driving home through the American Southwest, I suppose that's a good thing given the song is about Santa Fe, New Mexico.

    1. waves (Tame Impala remix) - miguel

Just a good song to listen to in the car if that makes sense. Good driving music but also good party music. What's not to love?

    1. Lovers Rock - TV Girl

Ok look, I went through a breakup and TV Girl kept me going, but especially this song.

    1. Weekend Friend - Goth Babe

Only song on my top 5 songs by one of my Top 5 artists. Isn't that fun? Anyway, really nice vibe for this song. Feels like I'm on a beach.

    1. Pink Skies (Demo) - Wiley from Atlanta

Super sad that this seems to be a "one-good-song" artist, but damn is that song good.

    "Raw" Stats:

    103,262 minutes listened (top 1%!)

    6,721 songs from 4,041 artists.

April was "Vlog Shred Future Bass", July was "Boujee Clean Rap Hip Hop" (?), and September was "Van Life Beach Indie Chill"

Not easily, but you might be interested in signing up for a service like last.fm (or stats.fm). You can import your listening history on both with a bit of effort.

Should've put it in "Best Ongoing" like they did with the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, Phantom Liberty. It makes way more sense than GOTY for a (very good) expansion pack.

    1. Contact YOUR auto insurance. Give them the rundown of what's going on, and they may be able to fight for you on this.

    2. You may need to get a lawyer. Don't sue or do anything just yet, but having a letter sent on the lawyer letterhead might scare 'em enough to get a move on.
