It won't be for long. Titanic is being eaten by bacteria. They estimated most of it will be gone by 100 years.

It's also possible the blackout has caused the opposite effect and more users are on it, it might also be the users doing a specific thing that isn't normally done as often and high batches like canceling reddit premium. That being said I wouldn't put it past them to crash / shutdown the site themselves.

From what I have read, the app also has its own backend to improve things such as private messages and probably upload pictures generated of comments, and possibly other features. The backend was also just recently put on GitHub because of the contraversy and to counter claim the reddit administration's lies.

Nice sounds close to the route I am thinking of. NAS for big Plex things and some storage service on the cluster for smaller things like their configs. Don't like the thought the NAS not being highly available, but it is a home lab. I am also planning to buy a Synology NAS with redundant power so it should be pretty optimal I'd imagine.

How are you managing storage with this setup? I kinda want to make the cluster use ceph or something also but doing mini PCs kinda prevents that.

I saw 2 attempts of this talked about in gitlab. One got it running but I don't think he finished it, I believe there were cron jobs that they didn't get added. If someone can get docker builds maintained that would make development easier and people deploying their own in k8s would be nice.

Price is great but I don't like the infotainment system and the minimalist design they got going on. I am sure that helps them make it cheaper, but I can at least control my temperature with a physical switch and change other climate related settings with capacitive buttons. Not a big fan of capacitive either, but better than navigating a touchscreen while driving.
