The Artist Is Absent by Innuendo Studios.

It’s not talked about in the video but it helped me to make sense of House Of Leaves’ multi-narrator plot structure. By having so many ‘authors’ it becomes too hard to try and understand their intent, and so you have no choice but to just sit back and pretend it’s all true.

The data is actually sourced from rebrickable’s api. I’ll have to take a look at their alternative builds for sure though, thanks for the tip.

Was the same for me but with Ouverture Facile. Got into that first, but everyone seemed to only known Notpron. Gave it a go a few years back though and it’s deffers worth it.

I think someone is working on a modern remake. I’ll see if I can hunt down a link. Edit: Turns out the first link I found was the remake. The old flash one is who knows where.

Both start really easy and get fiendishly difficult. Levels will take you weeks to solve and require hilarious levels of nerd to solve. Ouverture Facile is my personal favourite as it was my introduction to this genre, but I'm not sure if it's still solvable, as it is mostly flash and some content was on other sites that are no longer around.

Yeah that’s definitely workable. I’ll let you know when I’ve got something up and working.

I’m looking into making a manual way to upload your artists. But it’s way more fun when it happens automatically. You can listen to a new band and next week it’ll let you know that a new album is coming out in September.

I’ve been thinking about adding this for a while, so I’ll jump into it and let you know how it goes.

(Or would you be interested in not linking to anything and choosing what artists to be notified about in release bot?)

Not sure how many music nerds there are on Tildes, but I'd love to know if you find this kind of service useful. I got sick of not knowing when good bands announced new albums, and I also got sick of Spotify not telling me about new things in a timely manner. So I made this.

You connect your Spotify to Releasebot, and then it cross-checks artists you've listened to against new releases. Then I send you two emails:

    1. If a new release is announced that you should care about.
    2. A Friday digest of new releases for today.

Note: It's only Spotify right now because tidal and apple music don't provide enough API access.

I’ve been really enjoying news minimalist. It uses GPT to decide how significant the day’s news is, and then only sends you the ones that reach a certain threshold. Sometimes nothing significant happens and there are no articles. It’s great.
