AGDQ Bundle for the current event going on. (Thanks @kfwyre) Celeste is one of my personal favorite games of all time, Borderlands 2 is incredible and probably the best in the series. Bayonetta is super popular and I've heard very good things about Sprawl.

Probably one of the more immersive games I've played, I never played the first two Metro games but I think it's supposed to be a departure from the series. Would recommend if you like open world(ish) survival shooters.

Yeah obviously it is a little rougher than the third game but I find it a lot more atmospheric. Hope you like it!

This one is one I saw on my wishlist, was wondering if anyone actually played it: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1766740/ChooChoo_Charles/

I'm kinda into the weird meme horror games and this made me laugh when I saw it, but I also don't really feel like I wanna spend 6$ on it?

Another one from my personal wishlist for $10:
    https://store.steampowered.com/app/787480/Phoenix_Wright_Ace_Attorney_Trilogy/

I'm more inclined to pick Phoenix Wright up, but I'm still working through Divinity and Baldur's Gate so I might be having my fill of story games for a bit. And it's a Capcom game so I assume it'll always be on sale and slowly getting lower. (Megaman Battle Network sub $20 pls)

My brother-in-law is a track engineer for a rail company and happens to be named Charles so of course, as a joke, I was compelled to gift him the game. In short it's a very short on-rail shooter, pun very much intended but also accurate in both senses. There's really nothing more to it than what the trailer shows. There's a little bit of exploring which is mostly just to get supplies and set up a few cheesy jump scare moments. Ultimately had it not been purchased as a joke gift I'd value the games worth at about $2.

Mars First Logistics combines Lego, robots, and Death Stranding's focus on navigating terrain. Build a robot from a decently wide variety of parts and use it to transport various items from point A to point B. It's a simple premise but there's a good variety of challenges to overcome and approaches to those challenges. Note: I don't usually suggest Early Access titles but for the price I'm comfortable suggesting this in its current state. The dev is still updating it, but even if they stopped tomorrow, it'd be worth the money.

Wow, this looks like a game I enjoyed back in college, Besiege. If you're into this type of game you should check it out! Definitely gonna add this to my wishlist and maybe I'll pick it up :)

Note this game is also on Xbox Gamepass for PC. It's a game focused entirely on the climbing aspect of games and I think it does it very well. GMTK does a video every year on an innovative or standout game, and this year he picked Jusant (video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtYDhcVTNxo).

I generally don't actively check Epic Games Store specifically for sales (force of habit more than anything), but I saw that this week, the two "headliner" sales of the week there are the new Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora ($52), and both Dying Light games for $40.
    https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/browse?sortBy=currentPrice&sortDir=DESC&tag=Deals+of+the+Week&count=40&start=0

I really love Dying Light and how almost goofy it is. Zombie Parkour is an amazing genre though, if you never played it I would definitely recommend it! I've never played the new Avatar game but I heard it's actually surprisingly good, like better than the Far Cry games recently good.

The sequel should be out soon, and this game itself is already a really good game. It's a very smart way of getting talking about mental health issues through gaming, and I definitely recommend playing it with headphones!

Something different here, The Halls of Arden Vul (PDF and VTT map) ($25):
    https://bundleofholding.com/presents/2024Arden

Apparently it's one of the bigger (biggest?) megadungeons for DnD. From the page:

Originally published in five volumes in 2020, the 1,100-page Arden Vul is one of the largest megadungeons published for old-school gaming, with more than 2,000 keyed encounter areas spread across ten main levels and 15 sub-levels. The scale of the Halls and the variety of experiences ensure no two groups encounter the Halls in the same way. In fact, the same player group might run several different parties through the Halls and never see a given area twice – even the entrances.

Additional note, I've bought from Bundle of Holding personally before, it's legit. I can't remember exactly what I bought from it, but I definitely bought something from it. :)

@Deimos (cc: @kfwyre for input, since this thread was your idea that I love), do you think we can add a link to both https://isthereanydeal.com/ and https://gg.deals/ to the main body of the reoccurring thread, with a comment to check those before purchasing?

I love posting deals and getting commentary on the games, but I personally don't have the time to check every single deal to see if it's the all time or even current low, just want to get people the best deal :)

The site has a far better UX than ITAD, but they also include grey market keyshops by default. There’s a toggle you can use to turn them off so you don’t see them, but it’s on for new and logged out users.

I do think gg.deals is a great site, and I use it personally, but I don’t love the idea of endorsing it here and giving tacit support to keyshops by proxy.

ITAD has been promising an interface refresh for a while now that I think would bring it closer to parity with gg.deals’ usability, and while I’m hopeful that it’ll come around soon and make the site a little more user-friendly (especially on mobile), I’m also not holding my breath because it’s been literal years since it was announced.

I personally use IsThereAnyDeal tbh, I just wanted to be a bit agnostic when it comes to favoring a site or not, but I know that ITAD doesnt have grey market so we can definitely link that without guilt.

I think the reason for the delay in ITAD's redesign is that they abandoned their first version and started over. Previously they had both new.isthereanydeal.com and next.isthereanydeal.com, but it looks like the latter has replaced the former now.

I agree with your caution of gg.deals and would rather not promote them if we can help it. It's true that the site is easier to use than ITAD, but their promotion of unauthorized resellers is a turn off for me, personally.

Honestly sometimes I feel like I'm a bit too biased, I only post games that I have experience or have heard good things about. Thank you for the comment though! I do like games a lot in general and the more people that experience the ones I love, the better :)
