The new green portal seems to be a past-future mechanic, that will allow you to open a portal to a future iteration of the test chamber and play with time. I'm a real fan of Portal Mods, and if we get a fresh game out of it, I'm pretty happy.
Interesting, they say "wishlist now" at the end, it has a proper Steam page and such but no price so far? Is this just how you distribute mods, nowadays? Will this be a commercial release?

Sony less than MS, I'd say. Bethesda brought third-party Skyrim mods to Xbox. They tried to do the same on Playstation but Sony severely neutered the scope of what they could do. I love gaming on Playstation, however that decision really irritated me. Part of me still hopes Skyrim will get ported (yet again) to PS5 and Sony will reverse that decision so I can finally join the fun.
Count me in. If it winds up at all being like Portal Stories Mel, long dev time and crazy level design, it may turn out to actually be one of those worth buying.

Will this work on all versions of Portal 2 or only the Windows version? I still play Portal 2 almost weekly on my Mac with friends, and we'd love to play this mod! (Too bad it's not cooperative,...

Will Portal Reloaded be released on other platforms?
Probably not. At least not at launch. Portal Reloaded will only run on Windows based systems for the foreseeable future. Why is that? It comes down to logistics. I am a solo developer and therefore simply do not have the time or resources to manage different versions of the game on different platforms.
They also have this: So maybe it can be patched in?
They also have this:
Will there be a SDK?
No. Everything new in Portal Reloaded is achieved through scripting only. No changes to the source code were made. If interest exists, there will be tutorials on how to create your own maps for Portal Reloaded after release.

Happy (belated) April 19th!

Ah, thanks, didn't catch that!

Yes, I still play Skyrim often... 😁
Oh MAN, it seems that there wont be any Linux support :/
Seems like it... but maybe Proton? Complete sidenote there HAS to be a Tildes Gaming Night some day!

Per their website:
That's unfortunate since the macOS version already supports user-created content. Bummer.
They also have this:
So maybe it can be patched in?
Oh, good to know! That gives me some hope it might be doable. Thanks!
