Having watched the original video, I was underwhelmed unfortunately. I'm not familiar with the creator's work but I found his style less "dry ironic" and more monotone/uninteresting. I also just felt like it was the Wikipedia page for predictions of the end times + a bit of sarcasm and not much else to say. Yeah they're fake predictions.
That could be my familiarity with the topic or just a clash of vibes with the presenter.
Haven't had a chance to watch yet, but definitely thought it was this classic gem

The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, Animator vs. Animation, Xiao Xiao - Stick Fight Animation (Episode 1-4), all of Homestar Runner + Strong Bad, all TheWeebl's stuff like Amazing Horse, Badgers, Narwhals, Crabs, etc., and all of ceriak's stuff like Baaa, cows & cows & cows, Welcome to Kitty City, etc.
Watching these and playing line rider was my entire middle/high school experience
