Something seems to be churning up there, probably labor is in short supply and isn't catching up to their fast growing infrastructure.
There is definitely a global tech pull into Canada going on. I know of several people now who have been spoken to regarding working in Canada - sometimes even emigrating - and the government...
There is definitely a global tech pull into Canada going on. I know of several people now who have been spoken to regarding working in Canada - sometimes even emigrating - and the government apparently gives grants to new Canadian businesses that bring in a certain amount of sales.

The opposite. Employers can't require Canadian job experience

Probably, but like any such initiatives it's a step in the right direction.
