I'm not really enjoying fantasy football anymore though so this is my last year. I only played this year because I won last year and felt compelled to defend but I regret it. I'm just not into it :(

I think killing steam workshop support is the bigger story here.

Moving all modding to a paradox controlled platform under the guise of mods for console users sounds nice on the surface but once you consider the implications of paradox having that control things are a little bit concerning.

If I make a mod and later CS2 DLC has similar functionality, paradox can nuke my mod from their platform forcing everyone to buy the DLC if they want that functionality.

Also, when paradox is ready a decade from now to release CS3 they can drop support/kill the mod platform for CS2 to ensure everyone needs to buy the new game. Or they might just decide they don't want the cost of maintaining the platform and kill it for that reason. This could happen to steam workshop as well but it's much less likely IMO.

Consoles are also unlikely to have full mod support. It's likely that at best it will be for cosmetic assets because console makers are not particularly friendly to the idea of user defined code running on their platforms.

I cannot think of a single time that body language helped me during an in person meeting or that I wished I could read someone's body language during a Teams meeting, no.

If it's useful for you that's fine but I will fight against any amount of mandated time in office because I don't find it valuable to be there, I have my least productive days when I am there (the constant distraction of people coming to talk to you or talking loudly to others around you, frequent requests to go for coffee breaks, the difficulty of finding a meeting room when you do need to book one, etc.) all lead to me getting less done then when I'm working at home. I've never once had a fully in person meeting even when I do go to the office because someone is always remote because for some reason they couldn't make it in they day so we're talking over Teams regardless.

The time I save not commuting that I instead get to spend with my kids is a hell of a lot more valuable to me than any perceived value from being in person for collaboration, personally.

I'm sure there are plenty who do take their husbands name as a result of tradition but it would have been great to see them look into the reasons behind the decision.

The alternative in a FPTP system is they merge to stop vote splitting but that will shift the Overton window right. Look at the US if you want to see what that might eventually look like.

Vote splitting is frustrating and I wish the NDP would wield their influence better but it's preferable to the alternative.

A big factor limiting the NDP is money in politics. They often aren't in a position to force an election because they don't have as much money as the other two parties.
