Full disclosure, we're obviously not talking high cinema but the giant cicada looking thing popping out of the ground got a laugh from me. Perfectly timed with those broods.
Watched them all (several times, thanks kids), and I find Despicable 3 and Minions 2 to be terrible movies (the other movies are ok for what they are, though). This trailer does not indicate that...

I have seen them all many (MANY) times due to my kids, and I agree. They generally got worse and worse, but only the last couple were bad (the second Minions movie is just terrible). I am happy to...

I feel like most of the Tildes demographic probably wouldn't be watching many movies like this unless they have kids. Especially not a sequel to a sequel.

There was a user on the boxoffice subreddit that once described these movies as like a Looney Tunes cartoon. Where its situational comedy without trying to seem like its saying something important or trying to be deeper like a Pixar movie. And really that’s Illuminations entire business plan.
I've seen them all and I absolutely love them for what they are. Family friendly entertainment that's enjoyable with lots of heart. Specifically, I enjoy the music in comparison with other kids...
I've seen them all and I absolutely love them for what they are. Family friendly entertainment that's enjoyable with lots of heart. Specifically, I enjoy the music in comparison with other kids movies. Pharrell Williams' involvement which gives it a distinct hip-hop/rap infused soundtrack. I love the Minions and whatever language they speak. It's just close enough to being understandable. Needless to say, I'm pretty hyped for part 4.
I have seen Despicable 1 (liked it) but lost interest after Despicable 2. However this 4th one seems like fun and I'll probably give it a lazy Sunday watch at a certain point!

The third movie wasn't the best, but I've watched them all at least twice - with the offspring.
And the Minions are of course a runaway hit and a stroke of genius.
I feel like it should be fine that there weren't comments in the first place. Sometimes people will click, vote maybe and then move on. Don't need to give your opinion on everything, especially if...

Looney Tunes has the good sense to limit that shtick to 5-10 minute shorts. It feels exhausting and unfulfilling when stretched out to 90 minutes.

I'm gonna be completely honest, I didn't even know there was a Despicable Me 3.
Came out in 2017 and made a billion dollars. One of the South Park guys played the villain.
